Our Journey continues towards the wonderful waterfalls of Ribeira dos Caldeirões, a very beautiful and quiet Natural Park. Then a stop for a typical Azorean lunch! Finishing Lunch, Furnas Valley is waiting for us to experience its dramatic volcanic landscape. There we can admire the wild viewpoint of the Pico do Ferro for a panoramic view of the valley. Return to the accommodation via the island's north road, and stop at the site of Europe's only tea plantations and tea factory.

Highly Recommend Azores Adventures! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an amazing experience on the island thanks to our local guide, Gabriel Colleo. We booked a private full-day Nordeste & Povoação tour and a half-day Lagoa do Fogo tour, and Gabriel was phenomenal—knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly attentive. He went above and beyond, even adjusting our second day to include a spot I had casually mentioned wanting to see. From the great land tours to the delicious lunch arrangement at Porto Formosa, everything was perfect. We can't wait to return for a sea adventure with him!

Great tour!
This was an interesting experience. You got to see a different side of the island. The baths were nice but a little crowded. I wish I had booked it for during the day so some of the stores in town of the crater were open. Otherwise it was awesome and Gabriele was a great guide and very informative!
