Rua dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra nº 81 a 10-minute walk from the train station. If you need to leave luggage, strollers etc. at the store while taking a walk with no problems and at no cost. In addition to personalized services and advice, we offer helmets, locks, sunscreen and a great free map for every rental.

Nice idea but underwhelmed
We showed up to pick up the bikes. The kid that checked us in offered no help to adjust the bikes (I am short and he could have offered a different size), didn’t test to make sure everything was working before we left ( my bell didn’t work) and didn’t provide any sort of helpful directions except to put something in the Google map when we told him where we wanted to go. The bike that I had itself was not great to ride. It was average at best and we ended up returning the bikes after an hour. It would be really nice to have someone who was helpful and offered suggestions on where to ride or what to see. We wanted to ride to Praia de Bara and it is a long ride (45 min) on a manual bike. Wish he would have suggested e bike or something. There’s not much to do in bikes except ride to the salt mines and we did see white flamingoes. Maybe we just picked a bad day as others had good reviews

Fantastic Experience, Highly Recommend!
10 out of 10 experience from beginning to end! We rented e-bikes and rode through the salt flats and shipyards to the beach for the day. Helmets, bike lock and phone holder were available for rent. The rental process was smooth, easy and quick! Had a beautiful day and am super grateful for the kindness and helpful staff. 100% recommend!

Top e-bike rental in Aveiro – great bikes and excellent service
We rented two e-bikes directly from the shop in Aveiro for a ride to Costa Nova, and had a great experience! The lady who helped us was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bikes were excellent and very comfortable to ride. She also took the time to explain the best route to Costa Nova, which turned out to be really useful as Google Maps doesn’t show all the new cycle lanes yet. The ride itself was beautiful, and thanks to her advice we could simply enjoy the trip without worrying about finding the right route. Great bikes, excellent service and genuinely friendly help. Highly recommended if you want to explore Aveiro and Costa Nova by bike!

Aveiro bike hire - family day out
Helena was so helpful in finding us bikes to fit the four of us. She helped us map out a route to Costa Nova. A very lovely lady, great rental prices and great day out for the family seeing the best of Aveiro thank you!

Fun in Aveiro
Whilst in Aveiro we wanted to visit Costa Nova and decided that travelling by bike would be good. We visited Biclaria and advised them what we wanted to do. They were super helpful. Informing us of the route and how long it would take. He showed a range of bikes and what the price was for the time we wanted them. He explained the route was fairly straightforward and flat so we opted for the non electric pedal city bikes. The assistant put the route into Google Maps on my wife’s phone and explained some easier ways to pass some of the main roads. We were supplied with helmets and a lock and off we set. The ride there and back was simple enough and was as he said fairly simple and flat, we did get confused once. On returning we had cycled around 20 miles and in hindsight wish we had taken the E-bikes as it was tough at some points cycling into the wind. Overall we were very happy and the bike we had were in a good safe state and the assistance we got at the shop was very good, he explained he was from the Nederlands. I would recommend this rental company if your looking to hire bikes as the service we received was excellent.
