3. Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum

   Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum in Mumbai is a significant historical site that served as Mahatma Gandhi's Mumbai headquarters for about 17 years, from 1917 to 1934.Mani Bhavan is a modest two-storied building on Laburnum Road in the Gamdevi area. It belonged to Revashankar Jagjeevan Jhaveri, a friend and host of Gandhi. This house was the nerve center of Gandhi's political activities in Mumbai during a crucial period of India's independence struggle. Many important movements like the Non-Cooperation, Satyagraha, Swadeshi, Khadi, and Khilafat movements were initiated from here. Gandhi's association with the charkha (spinning wheel) also began here in 1917. In 1955, the building was converted into a memorial to Gandhi. When you visit Mumbai, Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum is definitely a place worth exploring to connect with the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi.

4. Hanging Gardens

   The Hanging Gardens, also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, are a picturesque terraced garden complex perched on top of Malabar Hill in Mumbai. They are located on the western side of the hill, directly opposite the Kamala Nehru Park. The gardens were designed in 1881 by Ulhas Ghapokar and are believed by some to have been built over Mumbai's main reservoir to protect the water from potential contamination from the nearby Towers of Silence (a Parsi burial ground). While you're there, you can enjoy the serene atmosphere, admire the sculpted hedges, and take in the breathtaking views of the city and the sea. It's a lovely place to spend a couple of hours away from the urban hustle.
