A very good and pleasant tour !

I was before touring with Co van Kessel in Bangkok (3 times) and Ayutthaya. This time in Chiang Mai, with a group, and as always, the trip was very good. The reception were friendly and we were said that there are free drinks and snacks. The group was not too big, just good. We did several locations that I did not know of and an area looks like in Bangkok: narrow alleys and poor people living there. The guide Anna gave us interesting information and she was a friendly persoon, like the other guide, something like T.D... the rest I forgot. The four hour tour was good and in good tempo. The fee was very good: not too expensive as in Laos (advertised USD 35 for 4 hours, but went up to USD 135 because I enrolled 1 person).

Unique way to see Chiang Mai!

Riding a bike was a fun and unique way to see Chiang Mai. I was worried that it might be a bit scary riding in traffic, but this was not a problem at all because there is a guide at the front of the group and another at the back of the group and when turning onto any busy roads the back guide rides forward and blocks the road while everyone rides through! I felt very safe the whole time. This was a fun way to spend the afternoon and the food we tried was yummy. It was also great to go to a local food market and see a few temples.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! 😊 We’re thrilled to hear you felt safe and enjoyed exploring Chiang Mai by bike, with our guides looking after the group. 🚲 It’s great that you enjoyed the local food, market, and temples too. We’re happy your afternoon with us was fun and memorable!

Best biking food tour.

This tour was amazing, riding through streets that I would not have found on my own. Lots of information was given, we had traditional thai food from the market and then rode on to the restaurant for dinner. I had an amazing time. Thank you.

Authentic Chiang Mai 4-Hour Bicycle Tour with Northern Food: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.

How much does Authentic Chiang Mai 4-Hour Bicycle Tour with Northern Food cost?

+

Prices start at $1318 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Authentic Chiang Mai 4-Hour Bicycle Tour with Northern Food take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.

Is Authentic Chiang Mai 4-Hour Bicycle Tour with Northern Food worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Authentic Chiang Mai 4-Hour Bicycle Tour with Northern Food?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Authentic Chiang Mai 4-Hour Bicycle Tour with Northern Food suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Authentic Chiang Mai 4-Hour Bicycle Tour with Northern Food?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Authentic Chiang Mai 4-Hour Bicycle Tour with Northern Food start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?

+

On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
