    Know before you go

    • Specialized infant seats are available
    • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
    • Wheelchair accessible
    • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
    • Children must be accompanied by an adult
    • Due to the new Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum policy, name and surname of each customer are obligatory and need to be provided accurately at the time of booking. In case name or surname is incorrect, this may result in customer paying for their ticket at Auschwitz themselves or even prevent customers from visiting the Museum. Each traveller needs to have valid ID or passport at the Auschwitz Museum.
    • By booking less than three months before the planned tour date, the customer acknowledges that online tickets for Auschwitz may no longer be available due to museum restrictions and high demand, as tickets often sell out well in advance. In such cases, tickets will need to be purchased on-site by the driver at the ticket office, which may involve waiting in line
    • If a booking is made just a few days in advance, the tour operator will arrange an early departure from Warsaw (around 4 am) to secure tickets on the spot. However, the local provider cannot be held responsible for ticket availability at the ticket office
    • If tickets are sold out, customers will be refunded the nominal price of the museum entry tickets, but not the cost of the entire tour. Alternatively, clients can opt for a non-guided visit to Kraków's Old Town. Such situations are extremely rare and beyond the control of the local provider
    • Pickup is available from hotels in Warsaw city centre - there might be a supplement for pickups outside the city centre. You'll be picked up between 4.00 am and 8.00 am. The tour operator will confirm the exact pickup time the day before the tour
    • The museum requires the name and surname of every guest, please add this additional information at checkout. Providing a wrong name and surname will prevent customers from entering the museum
    • Visiting the camp requires 3,5 hours walking

An Unforgettable VIP Experience with an Outstanding Guide

I must say that this was one of the best tours I've ever taken. My driver, Piotr Szumowski, was absolutely amazing. Although it was just the two of us for the entire journey—about three and a half hours each way—he kept me engaged the whole time with meaningful conversation. What stood out most was his extensive knowledge of the local area, Warsaw, and the history of the Holocaust and Auschwitz. He is an incredibly intelligent and well-informed person, and I learned so much from our discussions. Piotr made me feel like a VIP throughout the experience. He was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable—even opening doors for me like a true VIP. If you enjoy private tours where it's just you or a small group, I highly recommend this tour. It was an unforgettable experience.

    Personalized tour Krakow/Auchwitz/Wieliczka

Magda @ABPoland made our trip memorable in several ways. Her recommendations for traditional Polish food were excellent. With her help, we ate at a milk bar for lunch—fast food that’s not manufactured—and also enjoyed Zapiekanka in the center city with our driver, Marcin. Marcin and Bruno, our guide for our tour of Karkow, were friendly knowledgeable and fluent in English (as well as other languages). Seeing both Auchwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka salt mines on the same day would not have been possible without Magda’s expert assistance. Our driver, Marchin, kept our bags in his car so we did not have to lug them around. In Krakow, Bruno was amazing. From the Wawel castle to showing us architectural details from the medieval, renaissance and baroque periods we had a history lesson while strolling through the city and along the river. Feel scammed no notice of extra cost.

Our guide Jackek was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful and the trip and experience was good . However I would advise caution about booking with this company. I had booked a shared tour & I let them know I was flexible over a four day period to share the trip. I received an email the evening before to inform me that I was required to pay an additional fee for a private tour or the trip would not be confirmed. I had the same experience for a second tour to Bialowieza National Park. I was given a decent reduction after communicating how upset I was but still had to pay over €200 more for my son & I. So according to AB Poland over this week I was the only client in Warsaw for shared tours to Auschwitz Memorial &. Bialowieza National Park. Draw your own conclusion

Auschwitz day tour from Warsaw by private car with lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Warsaw.

How much does Auschwitz day tour from Warsaw by private car with lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $469 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Warsaw usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Auschwitz day tour from Warsaw by private car with lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Warsaw is not rushed.

Is Auschwitz day tour from Warsaw by private car with lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Warsaw, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Auschwitz day tour from Warsaw by private car with lunch?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Auschwitz day tour from Warsaw by private car with lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Auschwitz day tour from Warsaw by private car with lunch?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Warsaw can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Warsaw and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Auschwitz day tour from Warsaw by private car with lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Warsaw within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Warsaw?

    +

On Outty we rank every Warsaw experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover the Dark Side of Warsaw in Praga District by Retro Bus, Private Tour: Warsaw City Sightseeing by Retro Fiat, Private Historical Tour of Warsaw by a Retro Fiat with Pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Warsaw?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Warsaw?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
