    • Transportation options are wheelchair accessible
    • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
    • Not recommended for children under 14
    • Please mind that the tour is not private. For private transportation (extra paid) please contact us at the time of booking
    • Due to the new Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum policy, name and surname of each customer are obligatory and need to be provided accurately at the time of booking. In case name or surname is incorrect, this may result in customer paying for their ticket at Auschwitz themselves or even prevent customers from visiting the Museum. Each traveller needs to have valid ID or passport at the Auschwitz Museum.
    • By booking less than three months before the planned tour date, the customer acknowledges that online tickets for Auschwitz may no longer be available due to museum restrictions and high demand, as tickets often sell out well in advance. In such cases, tickets will need to be purchased on-site by the driver at the ticket office, which may involve waiting in line
    • If a booking is made just a few days in advance, the tour operator will arrange an early departure from Warsaw (around 4 am) to secure tickets on the spot. However, the local provider cannot be held responsible for ticket availability at the ticket office
    • If tickets are sold out, customers will be refunded the nominal price of the museum entry tickets, but not the cost of the entire tour. Alternatively, clients can opt for a non-guided visit to Kraków's Old Town. Such situations are extremely rare and beyond the control of the local provider
    • Pickup is available from hotels in Warsaw city centre - there might be a supplement for pickups outside the city centre. You'll be picked up between 4.00 am and 8.00 am. The tour operator will confirm the exact pickup time the day before the tour
    • The museum requires the name and surname of every guest, please add this additional information at checkout. Providing a wrong name and surname will prevent customers from entering the museum

    A Guided Tour of Auschwitz

My wife and I booked this as part of a European tour from Sydney. We had a terrific time. Our driver, Jack, picked us up promptly at 630am. We arrived for the 1030 guided tour in English, proceeded to a guided tour of the adjacent Birkenau camp, met Jack back at Auschwitz, had lunch at a nice restaurant then drove back to Warsaw. It was in total a 12 hour day. So having a cheerful driver who could add value to our experience was very useful. We found the trip to be excellent, with the caveat that Auschwitz is not a comfortable place to visit.

Excellent tour undermined by unprofessional conduct of one individual

The tour was excellent due to the driver and main guide who demonstrated great skills and delivered a high-quality experience. However, my overall impression was undermined by the conduct of another individual who appeared to play a lead role—a young woman with a walking stick. Her behaviour though brief, was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional in her interactions with us. This conduct is unacceptable in any context, but particularly inappropriate for a tour regarding the significance of Auschwitz. It had a negative impact on the quality of our experience but there is a risk to the reputation of your company and deterring future customers. This was a premium tour, for which I paid accordingly, and I travelled all the way from New Zealand with the expectation of an insightful and professional service. I strongly urge you to review this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that future customers do not encounter similar treatment.

Auschwitz Small Group Tour from Warsaw with Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Warsaw.

How much does Auschwitz Small Group Tour from Warsaw with Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $155 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Warsaw usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Auschwitz Small Group Tour from Warsaw with Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Warsaw is not rushed.

Is Auschwitz Small Group Tour from Warsaw with Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 118 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Warsaw, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Auschwitz Small Group Tour from Warsaw with Lunch?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Auschwitz Small Group Tour from Warsaw with Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Auschwitz Small Group Tour from Warsaw with Lunch?

    +

Around 41 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Warsaw can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Warsaw and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Auschwitz Small Group Tour from Warsaw with Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Warsaw within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Warsaw?

    +

On Outty we rank every Warsaw experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Discover the Dark Side of Warsaw in Praga District by Retro Bus, Private Tour: Warsaw City Sightseeing by Retro Fiat, Private Historical Tour of Warsaw by a Retro Fiat with Pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Warsaw?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Warsaw?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
