Amazing 1st Class Experience
Tomasz provided an outstanding experience as our guide. He collected us from our hotel promptly at 5:55 a.m., allowing us to arrive early at Auschwitz-Birkenau and avoid the larger crowds. His extensive knowledge of the sites, combined with his excellent command of English, made a significant difference to our visit. He was consistently professional, put us completely at ease throughout the day, and provided comfortable transportation in a Mercedes E-Class. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a meaningful and well-organized visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau. We also participated in the Wieliczka Salt Mine tour, which was equally impressive. Tomasz arranged priority entry for us, saving several hours of waiting time. He consistently went above and beyond in every respect, elevating the entire experience. We are very grateful for his exceptional service. Thank you Tomasz.

A difficult dat brilliantly organised by an excellent company.
Right from my initial email asking if I could be collected from an hotel, taken to Auschwitz and then to the airport, Prime Tours provided an excellent all round service. They answered all my questions very clearly and explained exactly how the day would unfold. Then, on the day, their service was exemplary. My driver arrived exactly on time, spoke excellent English and helped me with my luggage etc. On arrival at Auschwitz he showed me exactly where to go and assisted me with the entry procedures etc. He also gave me his personal number to ensure that we were able to meet at an appropriate point at the end of the tour or in case of any unforeseen emergencies. He then drove me, as requested, to the airport to enable me to catch my evening flight. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and, despite the fact that I was in a different country with almost no understanding of the native language or knowledge of the road network etc, I never felt unsafe or apprehensive in any way at all. Indeed, it very quickly felt as if I was meeting an old friend for a day out. In short I have no hesitation in recommending Prime Tours Krakow for any excursions or journeys in that neighbourhood.

Fabulous, reliable tour company
We did a combined Auschwitz-Birkenau and Salt Mines Private Tour. Our driver Tomasz was fabulous, knowledgeable and attentive. Pick up was a breeze, we were accompanied by Tomasz to the entry gates at both places which ensured smooth entry. We had a lovely lunch arranged for us, the recommended restaurant was fantastic. It was a long day but having the convenience of a private car and guide made it much more manageable. We also used the company for an airport transfer on our final day which was also smooth. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding Service When We Needed It Most
We booked a private airport transfer and Auschwitz-Birkenau tour with Prime Tours Krakow, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Unfortunately, after arriving in Kraków, we experienced a significant delay at passport control and were very concerned that we would miss our scheduled Auschwitz-Birkenau entry time. The team at Prime Tours Krakow went above and beyond to help us. They stayed in contact throughout the delay, coordinated the logistics, and worked hard to ensure that we could still join the tour despite arriving late. Thanks to their professionalism, flexibility, and excellent communication, we were able to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau as planned. What could have been a very stressful and disappointing situation turned into a memorable and meaningful experience. The transportation was comfortable, the organization was excellent, and the customer service was truly outstanding. We highly recommend Prime Tours Krakow to anyone visiting Kraków. Their commitment to helping customers in difficult situations was remarkable, and we are very grateful for their support.

A fabulous trip with a very special guide and driver!
I really want to tell everyone to book with this company, we had a fabulous tour, Tomasz, our guide and driver, is a very nice guy and a great driver, he let us all the time we needed and found for us a very good restaurant, the price of the tour is absolutely right, we visited both Auschwitz and the Black Madonna in Jasna Gora, a long trip but at the end we weren’t tired at all, Tomasz told us a lot of very interesting informations while driving in a very comfortable Mercedes car, when we come back to Cracovia, I hope very soon, we will book again other tours with them, and I really advise you to do the same, you will be happy and satisfied!

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.
How much does Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow cost?
+
Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.
Is Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krakow?
+
On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krakow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krakow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
