    Perfect from start to finish

Our driver Lukas picked us up on time at 9am right at our Airbnb. He was informative along the way answering my questions about the area etc. He explained how the tour would be and where he would pick us up and take us back. The tour guide at Auschewicz was equally informative. We were very pleased and highly recommend- 5 stars!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your excellent review and 5 stars! We’re delighted to hear that Lukas provided a great experience from start to finish. We’ll pass on your kind words to him — he’ll be happy to know that his punctuality, helpful advice, and attention to detail were appreciated. We’re also glad you enjoyed the Auschwitz tour. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you again!

I would highly recommend Poland is beautiful Cracow tours Three friends and I booked this company for a trip to Auschwitz. We were picked up on time with no problem; as soon as we arrived everything was arranged for our tour of Auschwitz. No problems at all and was able to email anytime with any queries. We were also provided with a fresh packed lunch for a fee. Our driver was accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend ⭐

    Fantastic company, amazing service

A fantastic service by this company. Hotel pickup & drop off, our driver Stan was amazing, contacted us that morning to confirm pickup time. That time was at time stated when booking so we had time for breakfast before we went. Auschwitz was truly a humbling experience, I think a must see. A lot of walking and uneven terrain at Birkenau, our guide was great didn't feel rushed even though there was so many other tours going on. Would definitely recommend this company, I'd use them again without hesitation, a seamless experience.

    Excellent company for this trip

Can’t recommend this company enough, excellent service, picked up from hotel taken to auschwitz and collected and dropped back at hotel, tickets supplied and given to us on arrival, the driver Lucas was very informative and pointed our points of interest on the way. We also used Polandisbeautiful for our airport transfers and they were very good.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear that you were satisfied with our service, the hotel pick-up and drop-off, and that everything was well organized for your visit to Auschwitz. It’s great to know that Lucas made the journey informative and enjoyable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and your trust in us for both the tour and airport transfers. We hope to see you again in the future.

Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow cost?

    +

Prices start at $700 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Auschwitz-Birkenau Private Tour from Krakow start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
