    Excellent Communication

I booked a trip for 3 people to Auschwitz, and received confirmation 2 days before our trip and again the night before, with confirmation of the vehicle picking us up, along with the offer of a snack bag. We were picked up on time, at our hotel. The snack bag was well worth the money: Ham salad baguette, Apple, banana, Apple juice, water and chocolate! A very well organised trip, but extremely moving!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback about your trip to Auschwitz. We are very pleased to hear that the confirmation process, both two days before and the evening prior to your visit, gave you confidence and clarity about your booking. Clear communication and punctual hotel pick-up are very important to us, so it’s wonderful to know everything went smoothly. We’re also glad that you found the snack bag to be worth the money and appreciated its variety. It’s our goal to make the day as comfortable as possible for our guests, especially during such a long and emotional visit. Auschwitz is indeed an extremely moving and powerful place, and we are grateful you chose to experience this important site with us. Thank you for recognising the organisation of the trip — it truly means a lot to our team.

    Top rate tour company

We had a booking made with Welcome in Cracow for Auschwitz-Bikenau on 24th Sept '25. Our first communication was with Bartek who was excellent in advising on all aspects of tour, pick up times & place, lunch choices, length of tour etc. Our driver Dorota was bang on time and an extremely safe driver. She had a very warm & welcoming manner. Our guide was Mateusz, he was excellent. Full of knowledge and passion. His English was excellent , clear & concise. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, not as in subject matter 😢 but the way in which the day was organised. We would highly recommend this company. Thank you all.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review. We're truly glad to hear that your experience with us — from the very first communication with Bartek to the tour itself — was smooth, informative, and well-organized. Dorota and Mateusz will be especially pleased to receive your kind words; they both take great pride in providing a warm, professional, and respectful atmosphere on such a meaningful and emotional journey. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are grateful you chose to experience this important visit with us.

    So informative and so enjoyable!

Jimmy was incredible on our private tour in Berlin! We appreciated the pictures he showed us along the way with their historical significance as well as what they look like now. We learned SO MUCH even though my husband and I are pretty well versed on WW2 history. Not only did he point out important sites, he did such a wonderful job that we literally returned the next day to said sites to visit them again as his narratives left a lasting impression. We wouldn't have been able to appreciate the places he took us without his extensive knowledge. This is definitely a must do!

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such an enthusiastic and heartfelt review! We’re thrilled to hear that your private tour with Jimmy in Berlin exceeded expectations, even for seasoned history enthusiasts like yourselves. It’s fantastic that his use of historical images and in-depth storytelling made such a lasting impression, inspiring you to revisit the sites with a deeper appreciation. Your words are a true compliment to his passion and expertise. We're so glad the experience was meaningful for you both!

    Amazing Tour

This was an excellent tour! Our driver Kuba picked us up at our hotel and what a driver he was! He was very informative and kept us up to date with what was happening as the day went on even giving us recommendations for places to eat and drink (which we gladly took advantage of!) Our tour guide at Auschwitz was excellent, very knowledgeable. The communication prior to the trip was excellent, we were offered an option for a packed lunch on the day for an added fee, this was well worth the money. Great day from start to finish.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We are delighted to hear that you had an excellent tour and that Kuba made your experience even more memorable with his informative updates and great recommendations. It’s fantastic to know that you found the Auschwitz tour guide knowledgeable and appreciated the smooth communication and thoughtful touches like the packed lunch option. We are truly pleased that you enjoyed every part of the day from start to finish.

Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow private chauffeur: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow private chauffeur cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow private chauffeur take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow private chauffeur worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow private chauffeur?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow private chauffeur suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow private chauffeur?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow private chauffeur start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
