A great tour with a professional company - Highly recommended
I left it very late to book this tour because friends couldn't make their mind up whether they wanted to go or not. When I booked there was no availability but was put on the standby list. The next day Sławek reached out and fitted me onto a tour which was much appreciated! On the day the mini-bus arrived to my hotel as expected and our driver Konrad was absolutely great throughout. Everything felt professional and ran like clockwork which made the day very easy. I think this is important considering the subject nature of the tour and was much appreciated. Thanks
Response from the operator: We’re really glad to hear that everything felt smooth and effortless from your side — that’s exactly the experience we aim to create. From the first message to the final step of the tour, we want our guests to feel fully taken care of without any stress 🕊️ It means a lot that you noticed the details and organization behind it all. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope Kraków gave you some unforgettable memories 🇵🇱✨ You’re always welcome back anytime 📱 +48 883 932 004 #AuschwitzTour #Krakow #Viator

A must-see Tour
In our opinion it was a humbling but very important experience to have been part of. We were all pleased that we had done this tour. Our driver to and from, Sebastian, was very good as was our guide at Auschwitz, he was superb; sadly cannot recall his name (08:50 English speaking tour on Sunday 5th October) There is just one criticism in that between Viator and the tour company used, they really should clarify an exact time for pick up, and not just a few hours before the tour, as our booking told us 07:30 but Sebastian had it as 07:05. Apparently a message was sent to me the evening before but I did not see this until after 7am. Luckily Sebastian was very good about it, realising this error, that had happened to him previously on other occasions.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing Auschwitz Tour Krakow to be part of your journey 🙏✨ We’re delighted to hear that your experience was smooth, meaningful, and memorable 🌍 Our team truly believes that every tour is more than just a trip — it’s an opportunity to connect with history, reflect, and discover something new along the way ❤️ We’d be happy to welcome you again soon — whether for another tour, a day trip, or simply to help you explore more of what Poland has to offer 🇵🇱 If you ever need any assistance or want to plan your next experience with us, feel free to reach out anytime on WhatsApp 📱: +48 883 932 004 Thank you once again for traveling with us and for sharing a part of your journey with our team. #AuschwitzTour #Krakow #PolandTravel #MeaningfulJourneys #TravelWithHeart

Perfect tour
Our driver Stanislav was wonderful. Patient and careful driver. He directed us exactly where to go and was ready for pickup at the conclusion of both tours. Our tour guide at Auschwitz and Birkenau was great. Explained the history and back story in a solemn and respectful manner. Would recommend this tour to everyone!
Response from the operator: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your warm and thoughtful feedback. Knowing that your journey was comfortable and meaningful means the world to us, and we’re so glad your English-speaking guide helped make it truly special. Your words remind us why we do what we do — to offer experiences that resonate deeply. Thank you for letting us be a part of something so important. Wishing you safe travels filled with connection, discovery, and kindness

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow/Tickets/Private car: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.
How much does Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow/Tickets/Private car cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow/Tickets/Private car take?
+
Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.
Is Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow/Tickets/Private car worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow/Tickets/Private car?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow/Tickets/Private car suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow/Tickets/Private car?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Auschwitz Birkenau guided tour from Krakow/Tickets/Private car start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krakow?
+
On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krakow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krakow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
