    We must do it!!

We had already seen the aurora somewhere else, but we hired this tour anyway because it guaranteed to see it or we got our money back, and it was an excellent decision as the one we were taken to see was much better. The tour lasted 5 hours and our guide Youssef very nice and attentive cared to look for her , applause for the sacrifice they make when driving so many km in one night... plus they cooked a barbecue!!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing Lapland Royal Adventures! We’re delighted to hear that joining the tour was such a great decision and that you were able to see an even more impressive aurora. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back again for more unforgettable adventures in Lapland! ✨

    Very bad service

Very bad experience, the guide did not communicate anything to us, besides that he lost the backpack of one of the passengers and made all the other passengers waste time on a tap while they resolved, then on the way to the center he made a stop without consulting the rest of the group to continue resolving the lost backpack. It is understood to want to solve but being 1am should have given priority to the rest of the group that already wanted to go to sleep and then to solve the problem that he caused for distracted. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback with Lapland Royal Adventures. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and understand how frustrating the situation must have been. We apologize for the lack of communication and the delay caused during the tour. While resolving issues is important, we understand your concern about how it was handled and the impact it had on the rest of the group. Your feedback regarding communication and decision-making will be reviewed with our team. Thank you again for your honest feedback.

    Great night

I was booked on the three hour Aurora Quest by Minibus with our guide Vesa. Our meeting was on time and soon we were off looking into a moonless night, dark, cold and a cloudless sky - perfect conditions for aurora viewing. The only thing missing were "the lights". I was impressed with the technology Vesa had in identifying where to look and his determination on making sure I could access viewing. We must have covered over 100 kilometres chasing possible vantage spots but alas, no lights tonight especially after the clouds commenced rolling in and blocking any chance we had of viewing. Vesa is very knowledgable and we chatted at length about all manner of things. The blueberry drink Vesa share was warming and delicious. Thank you again for all you did.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing Lapland Royal Adventures! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the Aurora Quest by Minibus and the experience despite the challenging conditions. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back again for more unforgettable adventures in Lapland!

Amazing service from yanae and eris

10/10 service! We asked Yanae (apologies if incorrect spelling) 15 minutes before his next tour if there would be room for us. The tour only had one space left but he got a whole other car out for us so we could join :) We luckily got the strongest aurora of the season. Had amazing picture opportunities and a great professional camera. Eris was also an amazing help when we booked our horse riding excursion on our last day, she offered to take us straight to rovenemi airport ! Really recommend !

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing Lapland Royal Adventures! We’re delighted to hear you had such a great experience and were able to join the tour and see such a strong aurora. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back again for more unforgettable adventures in Lapland!

Aurora Quest by Minibus: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rovaniemi.

How much does Aurora Quest by Minibus cost?

    +

Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rovaniemi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Aurora Quest by Minibus take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rovaniemi is not rushed.

Is Aurora Quest by Minibus worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rovaniemi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Aurora Quest by Minibus?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Aurora Quest by Minibus suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Aurora Quest by Minibus?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rovaniemi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rovaniemi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Aurora Quest by Minibus start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rovaniemi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rovaniemi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Rovaniemi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Northern Lights Rovaniemi: Guaranteed Viewing & Unlimited Mileage, Rovaniemi: Korouoma Canyon & Frozen Waterfalls Tour with BBQ, Rovaniemi:%100 Guaranteed Northern Lights Hunt&Free Photos. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rovaniemi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rovaniemi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
