What you'll see and do
Cusco
We'll begin by picking you up from the main square and hotels near downtown Cusco. Then, we'll travel by vehicle for approximately 30 minutes to our base located in the Sencca (Tica Tica) area. Once there, we'll provide you with safety equipment and give you a 10-minute briefing, followed by ATV training and instruction. Once you're ready, we'll begin our adventure. The ATV ride lasts approximately 20 minutes each way. Afterward, we'll visit the Residence of the Gods and admire the various hand-carved cyclopean sculptures for approximately 30 minutes. Please note that the ATV ride is not included in the site visit. We'll end the tour by returning to our base and then boarding the vehicle that will take us back to downtown Cusco, concluding our adventure on Shapy Street. No prior experience is required, as a brief ATV training session is provided before the tour begins. The tour is perfect for couples, groups of friends, or families.

We had a great time! Lots of laughs and beautiful scenery.
I read a lot of bad reviews about this tour, so was hesitant, but we had an absolute blast! Keep in mind you are in Cusco, Peru, not Disneyland. The culture here is beautiful and the people so amazing and happy! The views while riding were spectacular and the sculpture park we rode to was awesome. Lots of photo opportunities and our guide was so patient with us! Lots of laughs! Don’t always believe the bad reviews, some people la expectations in other countries is just too much. This was a great, local tour with local people and towns!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re delighted to hear that you had such a fun and memorable time on your ATV tour to the Abode of the Gods in Cusco. It’s fantastic to know that you enjoyed the spectacular views, the sculpture park, and the many photo opportunities along the way. We’re especially happy that our guide’s patience, kindness, and good energy helped make the experience full of laughs and unforgettable moments. We truly appreciate your appreciation for the local culture, communities, and authentic experiences that make Cusco such a special destination. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you again for another amazing adventure in Peru!

ATV’s Through a Landfill
If I could give it less than one star, I would. The description of the tour says just enough to not technically be lying to you but everything about it was an absolute scam. First, the tour begins out of the guide’s garage on a trash filled side road - expert tip, if you need to use the bathroom before you begin the excursion, don’t. The “safety” equipment is unable to be individually fit, and they are not even for ATV’s. My own helmet was a horseback riding helmet with no ability to tighten. The “safety” instruction detailed in the description was our guide who spoke very limited English telling us how to break and how to turn left and right. We had three ATVs : one with a singular side mirror, and one with no side mirrors at all. The ATVs come with front and rear breaks - none of the rear breaks in our group worked which we did not know until we began our ride. The tour consists of a drive up a gravel neighborhood street to a roadside attraction still under construction featuring plaster sculptures of Incan faces, more trash, and a big push by our guide to buy VIP tickets to walk through the “exhibit”. After saying no to entering, you’ll make your way through a landfill to take a picture standing on your ATV with mountains barely visible in the background and end with the same ride back down the street to the guide’s garage - all together totaling less than 45 minutes of actual ATV riding. At the end, when you are delivered back to the Plaza where you were picked up at the start of your excursion you may feel like calling the guide a crook for scamming you out of your money to which he will smile and laugh before driving off.

Disappointing and not as described
We did not go to the area described. The trip there ended up being on bus that took 1.5 hours instead of 30 minutes. Kids were promised their own ATVs but they couldn’t ride them because we were driving on roads, not in an open area. We never saw the area in the pictures online.

Awful, my worst experience in Cusco. Avoid it at all costs
Absolutely terrible, it’s a bad joke. The whole thing is very unprofessional. You won’t be picked up from your hotel. Duration is not 3 hours. The ATV route is not 1,5 hours, as advertised: It’s 2x15 minutes on a dusty construction road with 15 km/h. It’s really bad, nothing as advertised. Do yourself a favor and skip the theme park, too, it’s not worth it. Go book something else.

ATVs in Abode of the Gods - Amazing Cusco Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does ATVs in Abode of the Gods - Amazing Cusco Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does ATVs in Abode of the Gods - Amazing Cusco Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is ATVs in Abode of the Gods - Amazing Cusco Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule ATVs in Abode of the Gods - Amazing Cusco Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is ATVs in Abode of the Gods - Amazing Cusco Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book ATVs in Abode of the Gods - Amazing Cusco Tour?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does ATVs in Abode of the Gods - Amazing Cusco Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
