    Extremely Accommodating Tour Operator!

We made a huge mistake and booked the wrong day however they graciously still accommodated us! The cenote with a fun jump and lots of bats was one of the best we’ve seen in Mexico. Everyone at the beach club was welcoming the fajitas were delicious and they kept the drinks flowing during the 1-hour. On the snorkeling trip just offshore we saw a nurse shark and beautiful bat fish. Highly recommend this activity.

Wonderful way to spend the day

The experience overall was AWESOME! Great snorkeling first thing in the morning - small boat but we are not bothered by that. They even navigated to a second reed because the first was overcrowded with out tours… the area they took us to was practically empty but had great reef structures, tons of fish and even some we had never seem before. Not terribly long time was spent snorkeling (30-45mins), but since water was so chilly it was enough! Returned to the resort to wait for the ATV portion and while it’s not a huge beach club, it was nice to walk around and watch the waves from the swings that overlook the ocean. There is a slow, chill vibe and if you are impatient, this part may frustrate you. We just took the time to soak it all in. They transported us via Jeep to the ATV area… unfortunately no rain so the trails were dusty tather than muddy, but they cannot control that! It was a super fun ride through the town and down the trails to the Cenote. The cenote was was peaceful and little kotamundi were friendly. Return ride was equally enjoyable, but I was glad I thought to pack a bandana for the dust! Tried a sampling of tequila , and some chocolate, then headed back to the beach club for lunch. We had chicken and steak fajitas, and for us it was plenty to eat (if you have a bug appetite you may still be hungry), but the beer was cold, the food was good and it was nice to enjoy the waves crashing. Overall GREAT experience! Would do again.

    Fun day riding ATVs

My family of 8 booked this while on a cruise to cozumel and had an amazing time! From the cruise ships you have to take a taxi to it. We arrived at tortugas and had some down time so we grabbed a beer. Our tour guide was Francisco and he was so fun. We hopped in a car and he drove us to a location about 5 to 10 mins away to get the ATVs. We followed him and he took us on all kinds of trails that had mud puddles so we did get dirty. But they have showers at the tortugas place. He took us to this cavern that had a cliff that we stopped at. We were able to jump off of it and into the water. Then we loaded up and headed back. Once back at tortugas, we got lunch. A free fajita was included in this deal and also a 1 hour open bar. The kids were able to play in the water and snorkel. We enjoyed our day so much and would do it again!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We’re thrilled to hear your family of 8 had such an amazing day with us in Cozumel. Francisco will be especially happy to know you enjoyed his energy and the ATV adventure—those muddy trails and off-road paths are definitely part of the fun! We’re glad you enjoyed the cavern stop, the cliff jump, and being able to rinse off and relax back at Tortugas afterward. It’s wonderful to hear that lunch, the fajitas, and time at the beach made it a great experience for both adults and kids, especially with snorkeling and play time in the water. Thank you for choosing us during your cruise stop, and we would love to welcome you and your family back again on your next visit to Cozumel! 🌴😊

ATV Mud Kicking and Snorkeling by Boat in Cozumel: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does ATV Mud Kicking and Snorkeling by Boat in Cozumel cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does ATV Mud Kicking and Snorkeling by Boat in Cozumel take?

    +

Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is ATV Mud Kicking and Snorkeling by Boat in Cozumel worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 249 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule ATV Mud Kicking and Snorkeling by Boat in Cozumel?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is ATV Mud Kicking and Snorkeling by Boat in Cozumel suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book ATV Mud Kicking and Snorkeling by Boat in Cozumel?

    +

Around 87 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does ATV Mud Kicking and Snorkeling by Boat in Cozumel start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
