Atv’s extreme snorkle in Mexico
Booked an adventure excursion with the wife and 2 sons through amstar. Great experience from start to finish. David Trujillo was an excellent guide and helped make the day very memorable, very knowledgable and good with the kids, allowing the adults to enjoy the experience as well. Manny (our atv guide) was very good also and although we had a couple of issues with the atvs cutting out, we quickly got swapped to another vehicle and were on our way ! The snorkelling to finish the day was amazing ! Would recommend 👍
Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review! We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to David and Manny. So glad the whole family had a memorable day, from the ATVs to the snorkeling. Hope to see you all again soon!

Best Combo Excursion in Cozumel
Carlos and Eddie took amazing care of us during this excursion! The walk was quick from the Carnival cruise port to the 7/11 to meetup with Carlos. We then meandered through the main streets a bit to reach the home base. You will need to pay the El Cedral fee there along with supplying your driver’s license number and to get wristbands. We then took two cars for our group of 7 plus two guides to the tabs in El Cedral. The arcs are perfect for someone new or for intermediate drivers. We did some roads and trails. It rained heavily the morning of which made it especially fun! The guides made sure we were all good to go. The Cenote visit was absolutely beautiful! Our groups had a ton of fun jumping off of the cliff a few times each. We also got to see the bats and turtles that live in the cave. There is a restroom at the cenote also. We then had some more atv fun back to where we started the atv tour. After that, we were taken to a local place for tequila tasting with Jimmy. He was charismatic and excellent. If you don’t want to do the tequila tasting, let you guides know ahead of time, because it is a tasting and a sales opportunity. The tequila is great quality, and we brought several bottles home. We then went to Playa Uvas beach club for fajitas as the included lunch - either beef or chicken. They also have a great selection of drinks both alcoholic and non. There are restrooms and included loungers. The beach is not sandy here which is actually great, because the wildlife is more abundant for the included snorkeling or just walking the rocks to see hermit crabs, sea urchins, and other sea life in the little crevices. Snorkeling here is very good and you can see plenty of fish right by the stairs entry to the ocean. 100% recommend this excursion especially for cruisers! They were very aware and considerate of what time we needed to be back and providing an excellent time!
Response from the operator: Hi Sarah! Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We're thrilled to hear you had such a great time with Carlos and Eddie—they'll be so happy to know they helped make your day memorable. It sounds like you experienced everything the tour has to offer, from the muddy ATV adventure and the beautiful cenote to the tequila tasting and a relaxing afternoon at Playa Uvas. Thank you as well for sharing such helpful details for future guests. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are so glad we could be part of your visit to Cozumel. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure the next time you're in paradise!

Great time, great company. Reyes was the best. The ride is pretty bumpy in some places, rocks and roots, which is expected. Just wanted folks to be aware of that!

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
ATV Adventure to Mayan Jade Cavern plus Snorkeling and Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does ATV Adventure to Mayan Jade Cavern plus Snorkeling and Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does ATV Adventure to Mayan Jade Cavern plus Snorkeling and Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is ATV Adventure to Mayan Jade Cavern plus Snorkeling and Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 61 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule ATV Adventure to Mayan Jade Cavern plus Snorkeling and Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is ATV Adventure to Mayan Jade Cavern plus Snorkeling and Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book ATV Adventure to Mayan Jade Cavern plus Snorkeling and Lunch?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does ATV Adventure to Mayan Jade Cavern plus Snorkeling and Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
