Perfect tour, perfect day, perfect guide

We had an amazing time. A great mix of culture, nature, food, and adventure. Our guide, Saïd, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We felt safe and taken care of. We had a very special day, in no small part because of Saïd. Thank you, Saïd!

Atlas Mountains Tour

We were collected from our hotel by Wassim in a lovely new VW Toureg. Wassim was a great driver and took us first to the camel ride where we had mint tea, then to a view point/ shops and to an Argan oil cooperative where we learnt how argan oil is made, and its benefits. We also had the opportunity to buy some argan oil products. Then we continued to the Atlas mountains and were met by our guide Omar. Omar was great company and very informative. We saw some absolutely amazing views. We also saw traditional Berber houses/ villages and people. It was fascinating and the mountains and waterfalls were stunning. It was a good 2 hour trek then we had a welcome, delicious, traditional home cooked meal which also exceeded our expectations. Omar then took us the rest of the way back to Wassim who drove us back to our hotel. This trip was fantastic. Both Wassim and Omar were brilliant. We paid extra to have the small group tour (it was just myself and my 2 ssobs) but it was so worth it. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Amazing

11/10 day, couldn’t recommend more!! After the camel ride we went to the Argan oil cooperative (where they serves breakfast) . Then on to the waterfalls and a little hike to our guide Hiham’s house, where his family cooked a huge delicious lunch of taghine, couscous, salad, dessert and mint tea. Thank you Hiham and Younes !

10/10 Hidden Gem!

A truly phenomenal experience! We originally booked it for the camel rides but that some how ended up being the least amazing thing we did that day. We were completely immersed in Berber culture, visiting a local women's cooperative, walking through a local market, and hiking in the Atlas mountains with a guide who actually lives there. The best part was that we ended at our tour guides home and were fed a huge delicious meal of tajine made by his mother and sister! 10/10 for sure, I HIGHLY recommend!

Atlas Mountains Ourika Valleys Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakesh: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Atlas Mountains Ourika Valleys Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakesh cost?

+

Prices start at $17 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Atlas Mountains Ourika Valleys Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakesh take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Atlas Mountains Ourika Valleys Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakesh worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Atlas Mountains Ourika Valleys Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakesh?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Atlas Mountains Ourika Valleys Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakesh suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Atlas Mountains Ourika Valleys Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakesh?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Atlas Mountains Ourika Valleys Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakesh start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
