Five Valleys Atlas Mountain Tour: Great Experience
We had an amazing time visiting the five valleys in the Atlas Mountains! Each valley was so different and immensely picturesque. The breakfast with Berber women and lunch were delicious, and neat to see villages where people live. We highly recommend this experience when visiting Marakkesh!

Amazing experience and unique landscapes to be seen. As a guide we recommend Ismail who was funny and entertaining and gave us a lot of information.

An unforgettable day in the Atlas Mountains
An unforgettable day in the Atlas Mountains We booked the private tour directly with Morocco Inspiring Tours and, for us, having Ismail to ourselves made the whole experience even more special. What can I say about Ismail? An absolutely wonderful guide and genuinely lovely human being. Warm, funny, incredibly knowledgeable and nothing was ever too much trouble. We learned so much, laughed constantly and his photo stops were out of this world. What really summed him up though was stopping when he saw local children to give them colouring books and stickers. No fuss, just genuine kindness from someone with a huge heart. We started with breakfast in a Berber family home, then hiked through the mountains with Ali, a brilliant local guide who shared so much about the history and life in the villages. Lunch was with another Berber family and was simply sublime — extraordinary food and such a warm welcome into their home. If you’re doing this trip, take a few inexpensive colouring books, pens or pencils for the children in the mountain villages. We really wish we had known beforehand. The Atlas Mountains are breathtaking, but it was Ismail, Ali and the families we met who made this a day we will remember and cherish forever. An incredible experience from beginning to end.

A great trip with fantastic views.
Once again my trip organised through Viator created memories that will last with me forever. The views of the Atlas Mountains were spectacular to say the least and enabled us to see a whole other side to Morocco. We were collected promptly from our hotel by our guide Ismail who with his absolutely fantastic knowledge made the trip a great experience. The first visit was for a traditional Berber breakfast which included some lovely bread and tea but my favourite was the local honey- a must try. We then had a demonstration of how the Argan oil is produced and made a couple of small purchases. Following this we continued our drive and learning courtesy of Ismail before another brief call for coffee beside a babbling brook. When we set off again the scenery took on a whole new level and small villages nestled on hill sides created some cinematic photography opportunities. We were then handed over to a local Berber guide Ali who took us on a walk through the countryside for a couple of miles which was fairly easy going. It did give us chance to meet the local people who were all extremely friendly. Ali’s local knowledge of medicinal qualities of the flora and fauna showed me things that have been forgotten in our own communities. We were then treated to a very tasty lunch cooked by Fatiha and assisted by Khadijjah. Their hospitality was warm and welcoming. Although there were no further main stops after lunch Ismail knew all of the best vantage points to get the great views and regularly stopped to take these in. We were the only couple on the trip which was advantageous, especially when you saw other groups along the way that seemed large and unwieldy. The trip overall lasted around seven hours and provided excellent value and we wouldn’t hesitate going again.

Why this scores 83
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive cost?
+
Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3,925 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive?
+
Around 1,374 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, Agafay Desert Package, Quad Bike, Camel Ride and Dinner Show. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
