What you'll see and do
High Atlas Mountains
This is a marvellous trip during which you will discover the most spectacular valleys of the area. Ourika Valley, Sidi Fares and Asni Valley. Your guide will pick you up at 9am from your hotel or riad, and leaving Marrakech, east of the city direction of the high Atlas, will cross several villages before driving along the Ourika Valleys, stretches for about 30 miles across the foothills of the High Atlas. This is one of the most picturesque drives where the road follows the rushing Ourika River, which although the levels cary, never runs dry and provides wonderful whitewater rafting in the summer months. Somewhere in the valley we will have a mint tea pause by the mountain stream, before heading off-road on the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. We will take that route at leisurely pace, and if happen to be a day where it is local berber market in one of the villages, we would stop in the morning to visit it. We will drive trough villages and will able to stop whenever you want for photos or to get information. We also encourage our clients to bring with them unwanted spare clothes or shoes, as well as school furniture that you can distribute yourself once you travel with us, will be lot's of the berber kids on the way. We will continue to climb upwards until you leave the main road at an altitude of over 2000 meters. Then we will follow an ancient, partly paved Berber track to reach the Sidi Fares valley an authentic area famous for apple tree, here where you will have lunch in a berber house in a village overlooking the Atlas Mountains. The food will be homemade and organic food : tomato salad, chicken tagine, couscous and fruits. If you are vegeterian, this can be cater for with 24 houres notice. After the lunch we head off for the greener Asni valley where orchards lined the route. You can also admire the Mount Toubkal : the highest peak in Northern Africa culminating at 4167 meters, and often snow capped.

We were a group of 5...
We were a group of 5 women and really enjoyed this experience. The lunch in a Berber family house was perfect and highly recommended. We did not specifically like the stops at the tourist shops; and we decided not to do the camel ride after seeing that the camels. The drive to the Berber family house and the lunch are the highlight of this tour.

Abdul the driver and guide
Abdul was an excellent choice for us. He arrived on time and took four of us to the Atlas Mountains. He drove cautiously and stopped when we requested. Took us to a great Berber home cooked meal. It was pleasure driving with him.

A beautiful trip to the atlas mountain and three valleys with a traditional Berber lunch.
We loved our trip. Our driver was fabulous and took time to explain each area to us with lots of opportunities for photos. Nothing felt rushed. We stopped for Berber tea along the way and then visited a traditional Berber house for lunch - this was the highlight of the trip! The food was exceptional and the family so friendly. We would highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to explore further. But wrap up warm!!!!!

Memorable adventure of the Atlas Mountains.
A very impressive tour through the valleys. Wonderful landscapes. Abdul our driver was very engaging, very knowledgeable & accommodating and drove very well and safely. The stops along the way even for memories were much appreciated. The food in the Berber family was absolutely delicious. Best food in Morocco thus far. On my return visit to Morocco I intend to book everywhere and every time with Arib Voyages. Thank you and very much again!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Atlas Mountains & 3 Valleys Private Tour From Marrakech: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Atlas Mountains & 3 Valleys Private Tour From Marrakech cost?
+
Prices start at $64 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Atlas Mountains & 3 Valleys Private Tour From Marrakech take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Atlas Mountains & 3 Valleys Private Tour From Marrakech worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 235 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Atlas Mountains & 3 Valleys Private Tour From Marrakech?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Atlas Mountains & 3 Valleys Private Tour From Marrakech suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Atlas Mountains & 3 Valleys Private Tour From Marrakech?
+
Around 82 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Atlas Mountains & 3 Valleys Private Tour From Marrakech start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
