Wine tour
An excellent experience from start to finish! The wine tour with Lena was truly something special. She shared her knowledge and passion for wine with us in such a warm, engaging, and easy-to-understand way, while creating a very welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the tour. We had a wonderful time, tasted some excellent wines, and learned so many interesting things that we will definitely remember. Lena was a fantastic host and made the whole experience even more special. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Athens who wants to discover the city through the wonderful world of wine! 🍷

Stunning private vineyard tour with wine and food pairing
Incredible experience. We paid a little extra for a private tour and it was worth every penny! The location is absolutely stunning, the hosts are kind, welcoming and just very nice people with good energy in general. During the tour around the estate you learn so much about the history of the place and Greece, you get to see where the wine is produced and end with a delicious food and wine pairing, all with the wines made right there at the estate and fresh local produce. Mark my words - I’ll do it all again next time I’m in Athens. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Insight into Greek Wine
Had a lovely trip to wine museum. We were picked up at our hotel by Maria our guide. Maria was a safe driver and gave us lots of information on the way. The museum is a great insight into wine making in Greece which we knew very little about. After the tour we got to taste five different wines paired with cheese and our host was very knowledgeable. After that we had the opportunity to purchase some wine which I'm looking forward to enjoying. After the Maria dropped us back to our hotel. It was a really enjoyable experience.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Athens Wine Tour: Wine museum and Wine Tasting with Food Pairings: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Athens Wine Tour: Wine museum and Wine Tasting with Food Pairings cost?
+
Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Athens Wine Tour: Wine museum and Wine Tasting with Food Pairings take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Athens Wine Tour: Wine museum and Wine Tasting with Food Pairings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Athens Wine Tour: Wine museum and Wine Tasting with Food Pairings?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Athens Wine Tour: Wine museum and Wine Tasting with Food Pairings suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Athens Wine Tour: Wine museum and Wine Tasting with Food Pairings?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Athens Wine Tour: Wine museum and Wine Tasting with Food Pairings start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
