Aweful experience
Awful. Wrong info for meeting point. They tried to upcharge us for “vip” to sit in shaded area on a 20% occupancy boat. Swimming was not possible as they served lunch then departed. Stop was minimal. 10 hour tour was 9.5 hours. Wanted to swim off boat but had to decide between eating and swimming. No free snacks in morning either. No signage to boat as 5 crew members could have been at entrance to marina.

Beautiful day tour during a multi-day stay in Athens
Nice day tour during a stay in Athens lasting several days. There is with and without hotel pickup in Athens (approx. 08.30 h). First stop 2 hours Agistri with bathing possibility (clear clean water, but stony surface). Second stop about 1 hour before the island of Metopi (jump into the water from the boat / slide on slides). Third party stop Aegina on Aegina: Very nice port city with many restaurants/shops around the port; known for pistachios. Possibility for excursion to the Temple of Aphaia. VIP package (better drinks, better loungers on board, better food) bookable, otherwise soft drinks, coffee and wine included. Depending on the ship DJ with music on board. Approx. 6.30 pm back in Piraeus.
Response from the operator: Dear heikodevries, Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the variety of stops and experiences throughout the day, from swimming and slides to exploring beautiful Aegina. It’s great that you highlighted both the standard inclusions and the VIP option, as well as the unique touches like music on board. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again for another unforgettable cruise! Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

VIP service quality at a great price and great 1-day (9hours)excursion!
Beyond amazing! What an incredible opportunity to visit Agistri, Metopi, and Aegina all in one day. We had time to swim at two of them and still squeeze in some shopping. Petros talked us into the VIP upgrade—and we couldn’t be more grateful. Jordan, our host in the VIP section, delivered truly 5-star service. He spoke near-perfect English and, at our request, shared fascinating insights into local customs, culture, politics, and the islands we visited. Born and raised in the area, his knowledge and hospitality made the entire experience even more meaningful. The Greek food and beverages were fresh, delicious, and plentiful—more than we could possibly consume in a day. Our private lounge was comfortable and exclusive, but even the regular seating areas were clean, spacious, well air-conditioned, and featured large windows for enjoying the beautiful views. Takeaway tips? Bring goggles—you won’t believe how far you can see in the crystal-clear water. And while each island could’ve easily filled a full day, we still left with unforgettable memories. Fantastic value and absolutely phenomenal service. Thanks Jordan, Petros and the crew! Awesome job! See you again in 2027
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for this incredible review! We're thrilled to hear your experience on the Athens Swimming Cruise was nothing short of phenomenal. It’s great to know the VIP upgrade exceeded your expectations and that Jordan’s hospitality and local insights made such a lasting impression. We're also happy you enjoyed the delicious food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the stunning island stops. Thank you for the great tips for future travelers—and most of all, for your kind words about our team. Petros, Jordan, and the entire crew will be delighted to hear your feedback. We can't wait to welcome you back in 2027 for another unforgettable adventure! Best Regards, Margarita Karavasileiadi

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Athens Swimming Cruise to Agistri Metopi Aegina: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Athens Swimming Cruise to Agistri Metopi Aegina cost?
+
Prices start at $57 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Athens Swimming Cruise to Agistri Metopi Aegina take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Athens Swimming Cruise to Agistri Metopi Aegina worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Athens Swimming Cruise to Agistri Metopi Aegina?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Athens Swimming Cruise to Agistri Metopi Aegina suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Athens Swimming Cruise to Agistri Metopi Aegina?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Athens Swimming Cruise to Agistri Metopi Aegina start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
