    Great, lots of fun. Lunch...

Great, lots of fun. Lunch buffet was better than expected. Wish we had a little more time on the second stop and less time on the third stop, but we all had a great day. This excursion is a lot of fun!

    Was an awesome time we...

Was an awesome time we got picked up and dropped off at our hotel with our package. Driver was prompt and helpful. Food was good service was good. Stops were fun. It was nice to see different islands. We did vip section which was nice and less crowded, the only thing I wish is we had a speaker in that section for the music the dj was playing up top.

    I’d pass!

Paid for VIP but didn’t feel like I was VIP. Couldn’t hear the DJ at all, the food was mediocre and the stops just felt rushed. Staff was very kind and perhaps the only good thing about this experience.

Good value, just a few niggles

The communication from the operators prior to the cruise was excellent (even if there was a bit of AI in the messages). The boat was very large and well equipped. The lunch food was quite basic but edible. The staff were friendly and worked really hard. We were a little confused, when we returned to the boat after Agistri, as we were sent into the downstairs room for lunch, then it was announced it was time for the swim break. I was of the belief that swimming was to be in a cove near to a small island, but it appeared to be in the middle of the ocean away from anything. As we weren’t sure about lunch and swimming times, we chose not to go in the water. Many did, and came back into the dining room dripping wet, making the floor slippery. When we docked in Aegina, we met with the guide who was to show us historical sights… we stood outside a small church on the dock, he pointed to Apollo’s column.. then we went for a walk by the fish market, then he took us to a pistachio shop, where they offered us samples and expected a purchase… The guide sat in the chair and didn’t get up, so we assumed the tour was over! When we went back on the boat, we returned to our original spot prior to lunch (on the top deck) Many people had left their towel on the seats ( basically reserving them whilst they were on land). I found this incredibly selfish… some people were saving 2 seats each! One in the sun and then one in the shade, around a table. So we found it difficult to secure a seat. My husband is fair skinned and needed a space away from direct sunlight. Not all people have the mobility to manoeuvre sitting in a deckchair either. To the group of women who demanded that an elderly man with a walking stick get out of a previously empty chair as it had been placed near to their “reserved” seats when they returned to the boat… shame on you! Especially as you used said chair for your bags! Luckily, we were able to find a chair for him near to us. The DJ was loud and fun and the people on the dance floor were having a good time ( although I was happy to not join in). All in all I had a good time, I would have liked a little longer in Agistri and separate times for sea swimming and lunch. The “historical tour” really isn’t worth and I don’t think the guide’s heart was in it. The organisers need to make it clear than seats cannot be saved if you leave the boat, as there a number of selfish people who have no concern for others.

    Ok but..

It says well go to metopi. In reality we stoped in the middle of the sea and jumped out of the boat. Stuff is nice bur the food for lunch was cold and gross.

Athens: Swimming Day Cruise with DJ, Lunch & Drinks incl.: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Athens: Swimming Day Cruise with DJ, Lunch & Drinks incl. cost?

    +

Prices start at $66 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Athens: Swimming Day Cruise with DJ, Lunch & Drinks incl. take?

    +

Plan for about 8.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Athens: Swimming Day Cruise with DJ, Lunch & Drinks incl. worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 97 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Athens: Swimming Day Cruise with DJ, Lunch & Drinks incl.?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Athens: Swimming Day Cruise with DJ, Lunch & Drinks incl. suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Athens: Swimming Day Cruise with DJ, Lunch & Drinks incl.?

    +

Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Athens: Swimming Day Cruise with DJ, Lunch & Drinks incl. start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
