Go with Underdog! You’ll won’t be disappointed.
Great Aruba dive experience. I have an advanced open water certification and have dived Curacao many times but I wasn’t sure what to expect here. I was also a little nervous since this was my first dive without my usual partner. Pauline was warm, friendly and professional. She picked me up promptly at my hotel and we went directly to the dive site. She went over all the pre-dive checks, assessed my ability and experience , and made me feel very comfortable. We went along a beautiful reef and then to a really cool wreck site. She took pictures along the way and within 2 hours after the dive, she had sent me a very well done video montage of my trip. I didn’t ask for dive boots so that’s about the only thing I’d change. The walk to the site is not long but in bare feet carrying equipment it can be a bit rough. All in all, it was a wonderful dive experience. I highly recommend Underdog and will definitely use them on another trip to Aruba.
Response from the operator: You were great to dive with, and I’m happy we got to enjoy both the reef and the wreck together. I’m also glad you liked the photos and video, that’s one of my favorite parts of what we do, giving you something to take home from the dive besides the memories. And thank you for mentioning the dive boots! That’s a great tip for future guests, especially when carrying gear over the rocky entry. It was truly a pleasure diving with you, and we’d love to have you back with us on your next trip to Aruba!

Go with the Underdog! You’ll be glad you did.
This was such a good experience. I’ve done a lot is diving in Curacao but this was my first time in Aruba. It did not disappoint. Pauline met me at my hotel promptly at the time mentioned and we went to the dive site. She was so organized and in addition to being an obviously experienced diver, she is warm and friendly. I was a little nervous, being in a new environment and away from my usual dive partner, but sensing her calm demeanor and professionalism made me feel very comfortable. Our trip took us along a beautiful reef and then to a wreck area. Pauline took lots of photos along the way and within 2 hours of the dive had sent me a really good video montage of our dive. All in all, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It was such a pleasure having you along for your first dives in Aruba. I completely understand feeling a little nervous when diving somewhere new and without your usual dive buddy, so I’m really happy to hear that you felt comfortable and in good hands. You were great to dive with, and I’m glad we got to explore both the reef and the wreck together. And of course, I’m always happy when I can capture a few memories along the way! 😊 Thank you again for choosing Underdog Divers, and hopefully we’ll get to dive together again, in Aruba or somewhere else in the Caribbean!

Recommended Personal SCUBA Guide
My guide Alan, a native of the island was my private guide. Alan, picked me up from the house I was staying at and returned me after. He was very knowledgeable of the island and SCUBA. He was absolutely very safe; navigating us through the reefs, marine life, and the boat wreck. I would absolutely recommend him for both novice and experienced divers. For reference, I am a PADI Rescue cert diver with approx 50 dives under my belt.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review. It was an absolute pleasure diving with you. Alan takes a lot of pride in sharing his island home and making sure every dive is relaxed, safe, and tailored to the diver in front of him. Hearing that, especially from a PADI Rescue diver with solid experience, really means a lot to us.

Amazing experience.
My daughter and I went diving with Pauline with our dear friend. It was a wonderful exclusive experience. We felt so safe in Paul’s hands, and her energy was very calming. pauline collected us and dropped us off, and we had a fantastic Dive. The equipment was state-of-the-art and incredibly safe. She was kind, patient, energetic, and very smart. I will definitely dive with underdog drivers again and recommend them.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this beautiful review, it truly means a lot to us. I loved diving with you, your daughter, and your friend, it was such a special experience to share together. I am really happy to hear that you felt safe and relaxed, creating that calm and comfortable feeling is always our top priority. Thank you as well for noticing the equipment and the little details, we put a lot of care into making sure everything is up to date and well maintained. We would absolutely love to welcome you back for another dive anytime, and thank you so much for recommending Underdog Divers. Pauline, Team Underdog

The dive was awesome. Allen was great, he has a vast knowledge of the water and diving. 100% would dive again with Underdog divers next time I get back to Aruba.

Aruba Private Dive Tour for Certified Divers with Scuba Gear: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oranjestad.
How much does Aruba Private Dive Tour for Certified Divers with Scuba Gear cost?
+
Prices start at $104 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oranjestad usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Aruba Private Dive Tour for Certified Divers with Scuba Gear take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oranjestad is not rushed.
Is Aruba Private Dive Tour for Certified Divers with Scuba Gear worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oranjestad, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Aruba Private Dive Tour for Certified Divers with Scuba Gear?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Aruba Private Dive Tour for Certified Divers with Scuba Gear suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Aruba Private Dive Tour for Certified Divers with Scuba Gear?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oranjestad can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oranjestad and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Aruba Private Dive Tour for Certified Divers with Scuba Gear start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oranjestad within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oranjestad?
+
On Outty we rank every Oranjestad experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Aruba Natural Pool and Indian Cave Rugged Jeep Safari, Island Jeep Safari with Natural Pool Baby Beach and Lunch, Aruba UTV Tour: Animal Garden, North Coast & Andicuri Beach. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oranjestad?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oranjestad?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
