Hands down the best diving experience!
I have logged many dives all over the Caribbean, but this experience topped them all! The entire operation runs like a well-oiled machine. The dive boat was comfortable, clean, and spacious, and the rental equipment provided was in pristine condition. Our dive guide were exceptional. He knew the local dive sites like the palm of his hand. We did two incredible dives and saw an abundance of marine life, including sea turtles, sting ray, and a healthy coral reef ecosystem. The briefing was thorough, safety protocols were strictly followed, and the overall atmosphere on the boat was fun and relaxed.Between the dive spots, the professional crew, and the flawless logistics, this shop sets the gold standard. Thank you for an unforgettable day under the surface. I will definitely be back for more dives next time I am on the island.
Response from the operator: Dear Diver, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! Hearing that we topped your list of Caribbean diving experiences truly means the world to our entire team. We take great pride in maintaining our boat and rental gear, so it is wonderful to know that you found everything in pristine condition. I will be sure to pass along your kind words to your dive guide and the rest of the crew, they will be thrilled to know their passion for the local reefs and commitment to safety helped make your day so special. We cannot wait to welcome you back for more unforgettable dives the next time you visit the island.

SE Aruba Fly and Dive should be renamed SE Aruba Fly and Die.
Our dive guide (the dive expert we trusted with our lives) never realized we were not under water with him or the group of seven. My wife could not submerge. She did not have enough weight to submerge. The guide knew this was a possibility and did not check. We were left drifting for about 10 -15 minutes in the sea before the captain spotted us. The captain truly saved us. The dive guide said to us, "sorry, I can't keep my eye on everyone." This seems like a fatality waiting to happen. No offer of a refund or anything to make up for the missed dive.
Response from the operator: Dear Toby, Thank you for your feedback. We take all safety claims seriously and immediately investigated this with our captain and dive master. Their accounts, corroborated by the other diver’s on board, clarify what occurred. Your wife began ascending due to buoyancy adjustments, not a lack of weight, as proven by her initial full descend without issue and fully completed the second dive with the exact same weight. When she started ascending, our dive master attempted to assist, but you both continued upward without responding. To ensure the safety of the remaining five divers underwater, he returned to the group once he saw you were safely on the surface and close to the boat. Meanwhile on the surface, captain Jan, the moment you surfaced, provided you with instructions to bring you back on board, however you both failed to follow his instructions and had to jump into the water to safely secure you and your wife. At no point were you in danger, and our crew followed strict safety protocols to protect both you and the remaining divers. Our dive master never stated that the group was too large, he simply followed standard safety guidelines by balancing your ascent with his responsibility to the rest of the group. If the experience was as distressing as described, we are confused as to why you both chose to complete a second dive with the exact same dive master, tipped him well, and told management you had a great time, rather than refusing to do the second dive and addressing immediately the issue in person upon arrival. We strongly believe that this matter should have been discussed on site rather than online. Furthermore, you left the premises without paying your remaining balance; leaving without paying means that you have already taken compensation into your hands.

Unsafe Situation
Our scuba dive was not the best. We trusted our guide to make sure we were safe and that did not happen. My wife did not have enough weight to submerge. He gave the signal to go down and she couldn't. The guide just left us. I do not think he realized we weren't with him until the dive was over. We had drifted way too far from the boat, and it took a while for us to signal the Captain of the boat. We finally were able to catch his attention, and he came to us.The dive guide told us that they were too many people (7) and he couldn't keep an eye on everybody. He explained that it was the currents fault why she couldn't submerge and not their fault something went wrong. No apology and no offer of a refund for losing out on a dive. The second dive was ok, but we were disappointed that so many things went wrong on the first dive. We felt like the captain of the boat (Gan?) was a hero and truly saved my wife's life. This could've ended up so much worse than what it did.

Great experience for this old diver
Very enjoyable experience with the Se-Aruba crew. Paula picked me up at my hotel, which happened to be on the other end of the island and delivered myself as well as 2 folks from cruise ships to their small shop on the water. We got a good briefing after signing an extensive and well-written waiver form ( don't be intimidated by that-this is normal). The boat was already equipped with tanks with BCs loaded up. We had a full complement of 12. We used a slightly different dive profile with a shallow dive first then a deeper dive. The shallow dive at Garden Reef was a display of a wide variety of coral along with almost every colorful reef fish in the book. We even spotted a green moray eel. The second dive was on an old airplane wreck at the Sonesta Reef. This DC9 was pretty intact, which allowed the more experienced divers to do a penetration through the fuselage. Very cool. And the reef fish were even more plentiful here. One of the best parts was at the end of the dive they would remove your fins to make it easier to climb into the boat. Lots of personal attention and helpfulness that I appreciated as a 74 year old diver. Highly recommend their operation.
Response from the operator: Dear Mr. David, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your experience with us. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our services, from our complementary transport service to the personal attention provided by our crew to. keep your dives safe and comfortable. Your recommendation is highly appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another exceptional diving experience in the future.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Aruba 2-Tank Dive Excursion for Certified Divers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oranjestad.
How much does Aruba 2-Tank Dive Excursion for Certified Divers cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oranjestad usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Aruba 2-Tank Dive Excursion for Certified Divers take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oranjestad is not rushed.
Is Aruba 2-Tank Dive Excursion for Certified Divers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 248 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oranjestad, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Aruba 2-Tank Dive Excursion for Certified Divers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Aruba 2-Tank Dive Excursion for Certified Divers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Aruba 2-Tank Dive Excursion for Certified Divers?
+
Around 87 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oranjestad can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oranjestad and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Aruba 2-Tank Dive Excursion for Certified Divers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oranjestad within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oranjestad?
+
On Outty we rank every Oranjestad experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Aruba Natural Pool and Indian Cave Rugged Jeep Safari, Island Jeep Safari with Natural Pool Baby Beach and Lunch, Aruba UTV Tour: Animal Garden, North Coast & Andicuri Beach. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oranjestad?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oranjestad?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
