Alto Vista Chapel
Start your tour with the first stop at the historic Chapel of Alto Vista. The yellow chapel of Alto Vista is considered to be the birthplace of Aruba's Catholic religion, the first Chapel to be built on the island by the Indians and the Spanish Pioneers in 1750. The chapel offers a sense of peacefulness to all those who enter its sacred doors to meditate and pray, with a beautiful landscape as its surroundings.
20 minutes here
A natural formation you'll visit is the Baby Natural Bridge, which succeeded with original Natural Bridge in 2005 after its collapse. You'll be in awe to witness how nature can create such beautiful constructs that still stand and attract thousands of visitors from all over the world.
20 minutes here
Bushiribana Ruins
We include one of the most amazing historical landmarks of Aruba, which was once a prided mill that processed gold on the Island, Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins. Dating back to the 1400s when Aruba was being dug up for wealth and riches, the gold prospectors finally found gold mines and eventually constructed this fort-like mill out of stone boulders. Fun Fact: The mill was built to resemble a fort to scare away pirates!

First time in Aruba/First time ATV tour
Gabriel was a great tour guide, he’s informative when it comes to explaining the history of Aruba. He’s very passionate about his job and the future of Aruba, he stated the ATV tours are in jeopardy of going away because the people that be want to save the birds on the Northern Coast, the tour did not harm any birds or any wildlife in that area at all. It would be a great loss if these ATV tours were to go away, it was a pleasure experiencing Aruba on an ATV and only seeing parts of the island you can only get to by off roading. I would recommend this tour to all my friends and family that decide to visit Aruba. I would definitely do this tour again the next time I decide to vacation in Aruba.

Highlight of our trip!
Absolutely incredible experience! Was the highlight of our week in Aruba and that says a lot. Our guide “Rasta” was the best! He provided fascinating history for each stop and told Aruba’s story. So fun! So interesting! Felt like part of the island and culture. Now please understand that this is very rough terrain. If you have neck of back issue you cannot ride on the back you need to drive. Epic fun!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredible review! We’re thrilled to hear that your experience with us was the highlight of your week in Aruba. Rasta will be especially happy to know that his stories and knowledge helped you feel connected to the island and its culture. We truly appreciate you highlighting the rugged terrain as well—it’s definitely part of the adventure! We hope to welcome you back for another epic experience in Aruba! 🌴🤙

Why this scores 88
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Aruba North Coast ATV Desert Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oranjestad.
How much does Aruba North Coast ATV Desert Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oranjestad usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Aruba North Coast ATV Desert Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oranjestad is not rushed.
Is Aruba North Coast ATV Desert Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 2,741 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Oranjestad, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Aruba North Coast ATV Desert Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Aruba North Coast ATV Desert Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Aruba North Coast ATV Desert Adventure?
+
Around 959 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oranjestad can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oranjestad and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Aruba North Coast ATV Desert Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oranjestad within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oranjestad?
+
On Outty we rank every Oranjestad experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Aruba Natural Pool and Indian Cave Rugged Jeep Safari, Island Jeep Safari with Natural Pool Baby Beach and Lunch, Aruba UTV Tour: Animal Garden, North Coast & Andicuri Beach. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oranjestad?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oranjestad?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
