Magical experience
The husky sleigh ride in Rovaniemi was nothing short of enchanting! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and explained everything clearly. Gliding through the pristine snow-covered forests under the Arctic sky felt like stepping into a winter wonderland. The husky’s were gentle and well cared for, and the pace of the ride was perfect for soaking in the breathtaking scenery. We even had a chance to learn about the how to dogs lived throughout the year, which added a special touch to the experience. Warm drinks by the fire afterward were the perfect ending. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Lapland—it’s pure magic!
Response from the operator: What a great experience you had with our Arctic huskies team🐶🐶and glad that all of you enjoyed & loved it💙💚💛Wish you all the best.

Average
The husky ride was brilliant But some of the staff was rude It was like a conveyor belt to get people in and out
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. Well. High season is full of people here in the farm, where a bit crowded and stuff there may not have chance for taking care of eveyone as everyday has lots of husky groups going there and doing the activity. But glad that you loved and enjoyed this experiece with our great Arctic huskies team🐶🐶 Wish you all the best💙💙💙

Amazing experience, highly recommended
We got warm clothes suitable for very cold weather and headed to a husky farm. Our driver was very friendly and told us many things about the city and people living here. The dogs are used to human contact and are very friendly too. After petting of the puppies there was a dogsledding ride in pairs with changing of the driver if you wanted to. It was a remarkable experience. After the ride, we got hot tea and gingerbread cookies.
Response from the operator: What a lovely comment as well as a nice experience you all had with us💙💛💜🧡💚❤️Wish you all the best.

We thoroughly enjoyed...
We thoroughly enjoyed this experience - the feeling of standing behind a sledge and getting to drive it is unparalleled! The tour started on time, and our guide was polite and informative. BTW. please note that while the tour includes winder overalls, it doesn't include boots.
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us & glad that you had a wonderful time with our great Arctic huskies team🐶🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️Normal Winter Waterproof boots are enough BUT not sport shoes😅 Pls Note: -Boots, hat or gloves are not included for this program. Welcome!

Okay
Our small group was combined with a very large group and we could never really go very fast. I had my foot on the break the whole time because I was at the end of the line and someone in the front was very large and the dogs carrying him had to go very slowly. On the other hand, it is worth dog sledding in general (the dogs were great and it was beautiful). I wish we had done a private tour.
Response from the operator: For Safety Reasons, every sleigh team has to control the speed and slower down if needed during driving. It is a small group of max 8 participants per minibus and however, it is not possible to have private husky Safari because there is also other groups from other companies for that time departure in the farm, which is quite normal in reality. Still thank you for visiting our great arctic huskies and had a great with them on the sleigh ride🌹🌹🌹Best to YOU.

Why this scores 45
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Arctic Husky Adventure in Rovaniemi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rovaniemi.
How much does Arctic Husky Adventure in Rovaniemi cost?
+
Prices start at $236 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rovaniemi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Arctic Husky Adventure in Rovaniemi take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rovaniemi is not rushed.
Is Arctic Husky Adventure in Rovaniemi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Rovaniemi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Arctic Husky Adventure in Rovaniemi?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Arctic Husky Adventure in Rovaniemi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Arctic Husky Adventure in Rovaniemi?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rovaniemi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rovaniemi and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Arctic Husky Adventure in Rovaniemi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rovaniemi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rovaniemi?
+
On Outty we rank every Rovaniemi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Northern Lights Rovaniemi: Guaranteed Viewing & Unlimited Mileage, Rovaniemi: Korouoma Canyon & Frozen Waterfalls Tour with BBQ, Rovaniemi:%100 Guaranteed Northern Lights Hunt&Free Photos. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rovaniemi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rovaniemi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
