    Worst tour ever.

Terrible trip. This is definitely quantity versus quality. This was how many people can you put on a tour boat. Jorge on the crew was very rude to me when I asked about snorkeling. They wanted to sell you snacks and snorkels. Everything was a up charge. People got sick on the boat and they did not clean it up. We have been coming to PV at least once a year for over 20 years and this was the worst tour I have been on. The only reason we went was because we wanted to go to Las Animas which we love. Stick with the quality ones and do not take this one.

    Don’t go!!!!!

This is a young adult party boat. Over crowded. Over drunk. Over it all. Ran literally hours late. Now I don’t trust Viator.

Worst tour ever- Avoid booking with Groupa Vaviero!

Worst tour company ever!! Avoid at all cost!! My family of 14 went to Yelapa and since boat was so slow and two and a half hours to first stop, people were throwing up all around us! No snorkels, life jackets or masks for children, plus dropped us off far away from the site- I never saw a fish! The food and drinks were of low quality, I had a cardboard tasting fish for lunch. You could not visit the town of Yelapa unless you paid these high prices to horseback ride or rent ATVs. Eight in our group were seasick going over so rented a private taxi to get back to PV. The six left, stayed on board and had to listen to deafening music- which I asked Oscar three times to lower the music- he refused! So my 3 and 6 year old grandchildren had to witness pole dancing and sexiest person competitions. We got back at 8:30pm, almost 12 hours later, when I was promised from Los Tules tour guide, Roman, it would be 5:30pm. This trip costs us two days of our vacation, one day to recover! Do yourself a favor, Do Not Book with Groupa Vaviero Tour Co!

If you want to be left behind in the ocean alone on a tour, do this!

If you want to experience the usual suspense and horrific movie scene, like being left behind by the tour boat, this is the one! It happened December 2023 not February 2024. I posted this just now as I forgot if I did post a complain before or not. Very terrible and traumatic experience! I was excited to explore a Puerto Vallarta experience by island hopping but I wasnt expecting what I signed up for. On the very first stop where that photo is at, I remembered that location where they left me behind the ocean alone. like literally LEFT BEHIND ALONE!! I was snorkeling and I got up, boat was gone! I couldnt be grateful to a private family boat tour next to me who saved my life and brought me back to shore. I didnt have anything except my life vest, gopro and goggles. All my stuff were left at the boat and my stuff weren't return until 10:30PM to my hotel!!and guessed what, my cash I just had an exha! I had no money to buy food as my wallet and cash were there. They said they did a head count.. like, how tf I was left behind if they had a head count? Also, how you wouldnt noticed there's a bag on the floor of the chair where I was sitting was empty and nobody notices it? It was Sunday and they were closed so grateful some fisherman helped me out contacting the company and picked me up. I asked for my refund and and they gave a paper that I have to write down that they are not responsible to what happen to me? like wtf. its for me to get my refund back. like a true NEGLIGENCE. Never again! hope this never happens to anyone

Arcos - Animas - Quimixto. By Grupo Naviero de la Bahìa (Bahia Alegre): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Vallarta.

How much does Arcos - Animas - Quimixto. By Grupo Naviero de la Bahìa (Bahia Alegre) cost?

    +

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Vallarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Arcos - Animas - Quimixto. By Grupo Naviero de la Bahìa (Bahia Alegre) take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Vallarta is not rushed.

Is Arcos - Animas - Quimixto. By Grupo Naviero de la Bahìa (Bahia Alegre) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 74 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Vallarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Arcos - Animas - Quimixto. By Grupo Naviero de la Bahìa (Bahia Alegre)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Arcos - Animas - Quimixto. By Grupo Naviero de la Bahìa (Bahia Alegre) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Arcos - Animas - Quimixto. By Grupo Naviero de la Bahìa (Bahia Alegre)?

    +

Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Vallarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Vallarta and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Arcos - Animas - Quimixto. By Grupo Naviero de la Bahìa (Bahia Alegre) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Vallarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta?

    +

On Outty we rank every Puerto Vallarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Winner 2026 Downtown Vallarta Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Signature Taco Tour in PV with Vallarta Eats, Food & Mixology Tour:Tequila,Tacos, Mezcal and Agave Cocktails. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Puerto Vallarta?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
