Audio explanations as you move thru the park.

We had prior experience with this on an earlier trip which led us to try it again. We were glad we utilized this. It allowed us to understand what we were looking and told the story as we moved along. I would recommend this for anyone who drives thru the parks and wants the ultimate experience.

Response from the operator: Hi there - it’s great to have you back for another tour! I’m glad the Arches stories helped bring the scenery to life as you drove through the park. If you’re exploring more of Utah, you may also enjoy my Utah Mighty 5 bundle. Happy exploring!

Great narrative for a mostly driving tour.

Great value for the money! Interesting stories on the way to the sites!

Response from the operator: Hi Joyce, happy to hear the Arches tour added interesting stories along the drive that made your trip even better! If Utah is still on your itinerary, my Bryce Canyon or Zion tours are great next stops. Happy exploring!

Easy way to tour the Arches

It was very helpful in touring the Arches. For those of us who are unable to hike or go 4 wheeling, it is ideal. The narrator gave instructions for every stop along the way. He told stories along the way. To think, we toured the Arches NP in the comfort of our car with our dog!

Response from the operator: Hi Joyce, I love that the Arches tour made it easy to experience the park comfortably with your pet while still getting stories and stop-by-stop guidance! If Utah is still on your itinerary, my Bryce Canyon or Zion tours make a great next adventure. Happy exploring!

    Technology needs improvement!

Instructions, required 3 apps to be downloaded. Managed to reach tech support. He spoke minimal English, but did manage to get us connected. He apologized about the 3 apps and stated only 1app worked. While traveling in areas without internet service, we got disconnected while taking pictures. Wasn’t able to hear the rest of the tour. Very frustrating.

Response from the operator: Lorri, I can see my support team spoke with you by phone, helped set up the Arches tour, and resolved some confusion between the booking app and my audio tour app. After booking, you only need my app to play the tour, and once it’s fully downloaded and location permissions are enabled, it’s designed to work offline. If you get a chance to let me know how you enjoyed the audio tour once you got going, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the navigation and stories!

Self guided driving audio tour that wasn’t.

We booked the self guided driving tour. When we got to the starting point we couldn’t get the audio tour to work. We finally got a voice that directed us to the starting point of a hike. We were supposed to be on a driving tour! Then we were directed to turn left to see artifacts. This ended after a short distance in a dead end. We could get no further communication. We finally just did our own driving tour. That was fantastic!

Response from the operator: Hi there - sounds like this might have been a mix-up between the Delicate Arch Walking Tour and the main Arches National Park Driving Tour. Both were included in your purchase. Could you check your app and let me know whether you opened the Arches National Park Driving Tour in it? My support team is just a chat or call away between 9 AM and 6 PM EST, and I’d love to help you get it all sorted out.

Arches National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.

How much does Arches National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $14 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Arches National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.

Is Arches National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 315 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Arches National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Arches National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Arches National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour?

    +

Around 110 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Arches National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moab?

    +

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moab?

    +

April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moab?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
