SO disappointing
I RARELY review places but this one warrants it. I purchased this service as a special gift for my daughter, who was solo traveling. She arrived at the alloted 15-20 minute window before her session, checked in, and then she was led to a room and told to wait there. She waited there for over an hour to receive her massage. It was not explained to her that she could and should use the pools during the time she was waiting. Since she was waiting in the room for so long, she asked the staff repeatedly whether she needed to do something else or be somewhere else, as she watched many women arrive and head off to their services during the hour she waited there. Staff repeatedly told her to stay put. FINALLY, after waiting for over an hour, she was called for a short massage, although we paid for a scrub and a massage. While enjoyed her short massage, she did not receive the scrub we paid for, nor was she able to enjoy the pools. We are extremely disappointed as this experience was intended to be a highlight of her journey. No one should be waiting over an hour in a room, especially when they have only 90 minutes total to stay at the hammam. This experience turned out to be frustrating and confusing for her, rather than restorative or pleasant. Exact opposite of the goal. On the plus side, our daughter reported that the hammam itself was beautiful and visually stunning and that she enjoyed the brief massage. I hope this review helps someone else to avoid this disappointment, since we selected this hammam precisely because of so many of the good reviews. Hopefully, our terrible experience is just an unfortunate one-off, as so many visitors seemed to have the experience we were hoping for.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your daughter's experience, though it genuinely breaks our hearts to read it. This is absolutely not the experience we provide, and we want to investigate exactly what happened during her visit to ensure it never happens again. It is very unusual for a guest to be left waiting like this. Once inside the Hammam, a host personally explains the entire journey, and guests are completely free to enjoy the different thermal baths until it is time for their treatment, at which point a host will personally come to find them. There is no need to wait in any room. We sincerely appreciate your daughter's kind words about the beauty of our Hammam, and we truly hope you will give us the opportunity to welcome her back so she can enjoy the experience she truly deserves. Best regards,

Relaxing baths, especially after a day walking the Alhambra
The baths were amazing - warm, cold, 2 hot baths, and a steam room. The exfoliating treatment was invigorating but the massage was only for the back and legs, with less pressure than we have had with other massages. The beauty products were fabulous! Overall, I would highly recommend the baths, but maybe skip the massages.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review! We are thrilled to hear that you had a relaxing experience in our baths. Regarding the massage, please note for the future that our therapists are always happy to adjust the pressure to your exact preference—just let them know during the initial consultation. We will definitely share your feedback with our team to keep improving our services. We hope to welcome you back for another relaxing visit in the future.

Was pleasant, enjoyed the experience and environment. Relaxing warm calm space, the exfoliation rub and massage were worthy add ons. The hot bath was not too hot and the cold bath really not too cold

Family trip with adult children.
Fun visit for family with adult children. Cold.hot baths and a beautiful steam room. Wonderful break from other tours and events.
Response from the operator: It is wonderful to know that our baths and steam room provided the perfect, refreshing break during your travels. We would love to welcome you and your family back whenever your journeys bring you our way again! Warm regards,

An absolute must - after the Alhambra, of course
Escape the Spanish sunshine for a couple of hours. Peaceful, serene, comfortingly dark with candles, tea and a massage with scented oils. Everything your senses need for a totally relaxing experience. Idyllic.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a beautiful review! We absolutely love that you found our Hammam to be the perfect, peaceful escape after exploring the Alhambra. Creating that serene atmosphere where you can truly slow down and disconnect is exactly what we strive for. It was a true pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another sensory retreat whenever you return to our city! Warmest regards,

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.
How much does Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.
Is Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 685 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus?
+
Around 240 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Granada?
+
On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Granada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Granada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
