    About this experience

I like to keep things relaxed, personal, and genuinely caring. I enjoy creating an atmosphere where guests feel comfortable, well-looked after, and completely free to enjoy the mountains at their own pace. Whether it’s adjusting the route, taking extra breaks, sharing stories about local culture, or helping find the best viewpoints, I try to make every moment easy and enjoyable. I pay close attention to how everyone is feeling so the trek stays safe and stress-free, and I’m always happy to add small details - like good coffee, great photo spots, or connections with local people - that make the experience feel special. For me, guiding is about giving you the feeling of travelling with someone who truly cares about your journey.

Amazing Trekking Experiences with Breathe Nepal Trekking

I did 2 treks through Breathe Nepal Trekking, one multiday and one day trek. Highly recommend the great organization and supportive nature of Roman (as well as my guide Bishnu of my multiday trek in the Annapurna Circuit). They are amazing and extremely helpful before and during the treks. Great moments, and memories! Would definitely go back to them whenever coming back to Nepal.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing Breathe Nepal Trekking for both of your treks. It was a pleasure to help organize your adventures, and we’re very happy to hear you had such a positive experience with Bishnu and our team. Your support truly means a lot to us, and we would be very happy to welcome you back to Nepal again for more trekking and new memories in the future.

    Amazing ABC experience

I went solo on my first trek up to the Annapurna Base Camp in 2015, a few months after the earthquake and tourism was greatly diminished - so no issue getting a bed in a tea house along the way. At the ABC lodge I met Kumar, turns out he was guiding another lady, but he was so helpful and personable at first I couldn't tell if he was a fellow trekker or a guide. By happen stance, on my way down I ended up spending the night in the same tea house where he and his client were, then tagged along with them the final portion the next day. Trekking with Kumar was like being with a good friend, though we had just met. So when I decided to take my son and daughter on the ABC trek some time later, I immediately knew Kumar was the the one to lead the way. However he was already booked, so sent his son Nino with us. Nino did an amazing job guiding the three of us where we spent New Years day at the top. When I return, I'd love to do the Millennium Trek with Breathe Nepal, one that combines a cultural home-stay experience which incorporates participating in daily rural life (and home cooked meals!) with trekking in the amazing scenic terrain and culture of Nepal. I loved the fact that both Kumar and Nino were able to shift schedules and plans along the way to tailor to their clients needs - different from guides who were signed on with larger agencies who were committed to keeping the exact route and schedule which had been booked and unwilling to make changes mid-route.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your thoughtful review and for trekking with Breathe Nepal Trekking more than once over the years. It means a lot to us that you came back to Nepal with your children and trusted our team again for such a special journey. Kumar and Nino will both be very happy to read your kind words. We always try to create a personal and flexible experience for every trekker, so it’s great to hear that this made a difference during your time in the mountains. We truly appreciate your support and would love to welcome you back to Nepal again in the future.

    Mardi Himal Trek

We had the most fantastic time on The Mardi Himal trek, for 6 days Roman and Ishwa were fantastic guides, so knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions, and looked after us so well on the trek and at the tea houses. The forest route was beautiful with the rhododendrons and magnolias in bloom, and the final hike up to base camp was just spectacular in the snow. Great value for money and a brilliant experience, we will definitely book again.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really happy to hear you had such a fantastic time on the Mardi Himal trek with Breathe Nepal Trekking. We always do our best to make the journey enjoyable and comfortable, so it’s great to know you felt well looked after throughout. The forests in bloom and the snowy views near base camp really make this trek something special. We truly appreciate your feedback and would love to have you back for another adventure in the future!

    Unbeatable Experience

Our third trek in 4 years with Breathe Nepal - this time 6 days to Mardi Himal. We organised a group of 12 from Australia, mixed ages and abilities. Roman and his team put together a great itinerary and selected lovely accommodation along the route to suit our mix of couples and solo trekkers. A few of us oldies opted for helpers to assist with our bags and these guys were incredible. The entire journey was magical and we were blessed with clear skies when it mattered. The Himalayas are a special place - made more so by the wonderful Breathe Nepal team ❤️.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for trekking with us again — it really means a lot to have you back for a third adventure with Breathe Nepal Trekking. I’m very happy everything worked out well for your Mardi Himal trip, especially with such a diverse group. It’s great to hear the itinerary, accommodation, and support from the team (and helpers) made the journey comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. And having those clear mountain views at the right time makes it even more special. We’d love to welcome you all back again for another trek in the future!

Short 2 days 1 night Ghandruk litter picking trek… giving back to Nepal 😊🙏🏻

Roman is an experienced guide. He is knowledgeable and loves the nature himself. He is calm yet knows exactly when to strike a conversation. He is unexpectedly observant and is there with what you meed before you even ask. This is my second trek with him and have recommended many of my Singaporean friends to trek with him and all of them were just full of praises and awe with his attentiveness. Be you a beginner or a seasoned trekker, Roman will make sure his pace suits your level. You haven’t really trekked if you haven’t trekked with Roman 🤭

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this, my friend. Trekking together again was a real pleasure, and I truly appreciate the trust and the kind words. Being out in nature with good company always makes the journey more meaningful, and I’m grateful you’ve continued to support and recommend us to your friends. On behalf of Breathe Nepal Trekking, thank you for walking these paths with me and for being part of the journey.

Annapurna Treks with Roman – Your Certified Guide in Pokhara: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.

How much does Annapurna Treks with Roman – Your Certified Guide in Pokhara cost?

    +

Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Annapurna Treks with Roman – Your Certified Guide in Pokhara take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.

Is Annapurna Treks with Roman – Your Certified Guide in Pokhara worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Treks with Roman – Your Certified Guide in Pokhara?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Annapurna Treks with Roman – Your Certified Guide in Pokhara suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Annapurna Treks with Roman – Your Certified Guide in Pokhara?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Annapurna Treks with Roman – Your Certified Guide in Pokhara start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pokhara?

    +

On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pokhara?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pokhara?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
