  3. Ta Prohm

Ta Prohm is a 12th-century Buddhist temple in the Angkor region of Cambodia, famous for being overgrown by the jungle. Unlike many other temples in the park, it was deliberately left in its natural state, with massive tree roots twisting around ancient stone structures.

Super guide for Cambodia

We felt completely comfortable with Radeit. He addressed our needs at all times and gave us a wonderfully authentic insight into the country and people of Cambodia. We can highly recommend him as a tour guide.

Angkor Wat by tuk-tuk.

I was able to experience Angkor Wat today with Radet. This is exactly how I imagined this privately guided tour. Radet speaks perfect German and makes it super pleasant for vacationers who speak no or only a little English. Everything is individually tailored to the desired pace. He provides a lot of information and is very knowledgeable. You are welcome to ask questions and he can answer them. Along the way, you also learn a lot about life here in the country. This excursion was simply great. Angkor Wat and the other temples are very impressive and worth seeing. Personal recommendation from me: Do not underestimate the off-season. Great weather, everything is green and not too crowded.

Response from the operator: Dear NullisLe We thank you so much for your supporting us and we are tour operator so we speak English. On behalf of whole team and our professional German speaking tour guide Mr.Radet , we are so glad to read details of your feedback of your memorable experience to visit and explore Angkor Wat temple areas with him and his driver . We truly appreciate you exploring with us and hope to welcome you back again soon. Warmest Regards, Angkor Pro Travel Team

Great experience with Bross

It was a great excursion. Our guide Bross told us a lot about the temples in excellent German. The details about the history of the country and the mentality of the locals also captivated us. The transport was organized magnificently. Everything without stress and very personalized. Explicitly many thanks to Bross and our driver.

Guide Bross - excellent tour in good German!

We were picked up on time in front of the hotel by private bus. Our very friendly guide Bross accompanied us the whole time and provided us with interesting information all day long. In addition, he knew many special places for great photos off the beaten tourist path. Between the individual temples, we were given chilled water as well as refreshing towels. The driver, Thy, also ensured there was no stress, with a comfortable driving speed, never speeding. Overall, this tour is 100% recommended, especially in German (for children). Response from the operator: Dear Sunshin Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We are thrilled to hear that you had such a memorable experience exploring Angkor Wat with us. Mr. Bross takes great pride in sharing the rich history and culture of Cambodia. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to both of them, they will be delighted! We hope to welcome you back to Cambodia again in the future. Warmest Regards, Angkor Pro Travel

German-speaking guide - who would have thought...

Thanks to guide Bross, we understood the Khmer culture and cultural treasures much better than if we had explored the temples on our own. Bross was great, knew a lot of details, and always had a photo tip ready.

Angkor Wat Tour Guide Deutsch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Angkor Wat Tour Guide Deutsch cost?

+

Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Angkor Wat Tour Guide Deutsch take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Angkor Wat Tour Guide Deutsch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Angkor Wat Tour Guide Deutsch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Angkor Wat Tour Guide Deutsch suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Angkor Wat Tour Guide Deutsch?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Angkor Wat Tour Guide Deutsch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
