3 full days of enjoyment at Ankor Wat and Siem Reap.

Through our tour operator in the Netherlands, we had the pleasure of being guided at the Ankor Wat temple complex and the surrounding points of interest of Siem Reap. Mr. Chantra was our guide, a young dynamic gentleman telling with plenty of knowledge and passion about the history of this beautiful region and the whole of Cambodia and bordering countries. For Dutch speaking customers, Mr. Chantra is fluent in Dutch too. He understands humor and is just fun to be with. If you look for a good guide, look no further!

Response from the operator: Dear Keon, Warm greetings from GoCambo Travel! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience with us! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed three memorable days exploring Angkor Wat and the highlights of Siem Reap. Cambodia is beautiful! An unforgettable day in Angkor!

Our tour through the Angkor Archaeological Park was simply perfect. While temples like Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm are incredible on their own, our guide Steven made the day truly special. He shared so much great knowledge—not just about the temples, but also about Cambodian culture and daily life. Thanks to his clever routing, we easily avoided the massive tour groups. He also pointed out nice photo spots and gave us all the time we needed without making us feel rushed. Calling us "customers" wouldn't do it justice—from minute one, it felt like exploring with a good friend. Pick-up and drop-off were seamless, too. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, personal tour in Siem Reap. We will definitely be back to visit this beautiful country! Thanks, Steven!

Response from the operator: Dear Robin Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing GoCambo Travel for your Angkor adventure! We're delighted to hear that you had such an unforgettable experience exploring Angkor Archaeological Park with Steven. It's especially rewarding to know that his knowledge of Cambodia's history, culture, and daily life helped make your visit even more meaningful. We're also pleased that his thoughtful planning allowed you to enjoy the temples while avoiding the larger crowds, and that you had plenty of time to take in the sights and capture memorable photos. Your kind words about feeling more like friends than customers mean a great deal to us. Creating personal, relaxed, and memorable experiences is exactly what we strive for, and we're thrilled Steven made you feel so welcome throughout the day. Thank you again for your recommendation. We truly appreciate your support and can't wait to welcome you back to Cambodia for another unforgettable adventure! Warm regards, The GoCambo Travel Team

Angkor Wat Temples Private Day Tour from Siem Reap: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Angkor Wat Temples Private Day Tour from Siem Reap cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Angkor Wat Temples Private Day Tour from Siem Reap take?

    +

Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Angkor Wat Temples Private Day Tour from Siem Reap worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Angkor Wat Temples Private Day Tour from Siem Reap?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Angkor Wat Temples Private Day Tour from Siem Reap suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Angkor Wat Temples Private Day Tour from Siem Reap?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Angkor Wat Temples Private Day Tour from Siem Reap start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

    +

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampong Phluk Floating Village Tour by Boat, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap, Angkor Wat Sunrise & 3 Main Temples – Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
