Great Tour and Guide!!
This was a great experience and I’m glad I opted for the full guided tour. Dara was a plethora of information and I would have only learned a fraction of what I did if I tried to go from site to site and just read posted info. Dara was well spoken and clearly an expert in the history of Angkor Wat and really all history of SE Asia.

Dara was great!
Dara was amazing; highly knowledgeable and very fun! The bus picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off at the end of the tour. Lunch was great, and we also stopped in a small market to get snacks after. 100% would recommend!

Great
Mr Makara made this tour more entertaining. He has lot of knowledge which most of guides do but presenting the information in a way where you remember the information longer makes the difference. He was open to any adjustment to plan instead of sticking to predefined plan in the tour.
Response from the operator: Dear Vinay, Thank you so much for this thoughtful and detailed review! We're delighted to hear that Mr. Makara made your Angkor Wat tour so entertaining and memorable. Your observation truly stands out to us — many guides share knowledge, but presenting it in a way that makes it stick, as Makara did, is a special skill we deeply value. We're also glad to hear he was flexible and open to adjusting the plan to suit your group's preferences, rather than sticking rigidly to a predefined itinerary. That kind of attentiveness and adaptability is exactly what we strive for in every tour. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to Makara; he'll be delighted to know his approach made such a lasting impression. Thank you again for taking the time to share such insightful feedback with us. We hope to welcome you back to Cambodia for more memorable adventures soon! Why this scores 92
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch Included: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch Included cost?
+
Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch Included take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch Included worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 445 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch Included?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch Included suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch Included?
+
Around 156 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Angkor Wat Small Group Tour and Sunset with Lunch Included start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
