Never again!!!!
A complete disaster. We were not picked up from the hotel as booked. We then had to try to clarify ourselves for over an hour where the boat was departing from and whether it was even still there, and then, after we had waited for over 1:10, a car came that drove us to the pier. Unfortunately, our small ship, for max 45 people, was no longer there, but only a giant steamer with over 150 people on board. It was said, either up here or back. Since we had already been waiting since shortly after 7 a.m. and of course didn't want to go back at our own expense without an excursion, we then participated. The ship was big and full, there was a banana and a croissant for breakfast. Everything else was mass processing. Lunch was so-so. We of course contacted TripAdvisor immediately and hope for a quick refund! Something like that is unacceptable. Then I wouldn't have booked an excursion for more than double the price!

I had a great time with ITC Tours during the visit to the nature park in Thailand. The organization was at the top and the guide really passionate. A wonderful experience that I recommend without hesitation!

Do not book this tour
They never came to pick us up from the hotel so we didn’t get to go to the marine park. Very disappointing and frustrating as it was too late to rebook anything else. They confirmed the pick up time the night before and when I tried to contact them the next morning to ask when they would arrive, they never answered or acknowledged my messages. We were able to get in touch with Viator and they sent in a refund request.

Moderate experience on a speedboat that is too full.
We were picked up at 7 in the morning and finally left around 9.30 am on a speedboat. The speedboat was completely full and the engine also broke down on the way. It's all very provisional. You may snorkel once in a place that was not clear for us. After that, you will not have the opportunity to snorkel. It all felt very rushed and honestly we certainly wouldn't do this another x. Communication with the crew was poor and one of the crew even smoked on the boat, in front of children. All in all I would look further and not book this tour.

Why this scores 48
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ang Thong Marine Park Adventure with Kayaking and Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Koh Samui.
How much does Ang Thong Marine Park Adventure with Kayaking and Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $1500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Koh Samui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ang Thong Marine Park Adventure with Kayaking and Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Koh Samui is not rushed.
Is Ang Thong Marine Park Adventure with Kayaking and Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ang Thong Marine Park Adventure with Kayaking and Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ang Thong Marine Park Adventure with Kayaking and Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ang Thong Marine Park Adventure with Kayaking and Lunch?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ang Thong Marine Park Adventure with Kayaking and Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Koh Samui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?
+
On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Koh Samui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
