Great time and fabulous tour operator!
We found Elena through a classic Google search and reading reviews, and after doing our excursion with her, we can completely see why she comes so highly recommended. Communication during the booking process was prompt and clear, making organizing our trip an absolute breeze. The day started with a private pickup in an immaculate van. Our driver, Kostas, was friendly, prompt, and even stopped at a great local coffee shop for my wife before we hit the road. While the drive from Athens to Olympia is long, Kostas made it feel short by sharing fascinating details about the countryside and constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Upon arrival at Olympia, Elena met us and guided us through the museum, bringing the history to life with insights far beyond what the display plaques offered. She also expertly recommended visiting on a day when the site was unpopulated, allowing us to explore the ruins completely crowd-free. We never felt rushed at all; Elena made sure to point out we had all the time in the world and specifically wanted to make sure we got great value for traveling such a long way. After touring the site, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch at a local taverna before heading to Smili Art Workshop. There, we had a hands-on experience sculpting real marble using a chisel and hammer, hosted by a wonderfully welcoming and friendly artisan. It was an unforgettable day from start to finish!

Our driver/guide was very...
Our driver/guide was very nice and accommodating. Very expensive for just being driven to a museum and back.
Response from the operator: Dear Victoria, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your private pick-up/drop-off service. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the services of our team. The vehicle was at your full disposal for 4-h. Therefore, it is up to our guests' choice to add another experience or attraction besides ancient Olympia. Thanks again. Kind regards Elena Aggeli

Olympia / Katakolon Private Tour with olive oil tasting
My family and friends booked a 5-hour private tour in Olympia to explore not only the birthplace of the Olympic Games, Ancient Olympia, but also the beauty of its surroundings. Elena provided top-notch instruction to our group as we walked around the Museum and Olympic game site. She is a wealth of information and incredibly knowledgeable. We started our tour at 8am, which was fantastic as we beat the heat and the crowds! Then, on our comfortable drive over to a local olive-oil family-owned business, Effie provided us with background information on Olympia. At this business, we tasted delicious olive oil, vinegar, and honey, and had time to purchase anything of interest (trust me, you will not walk away empty handed as this is truly an authentic, delicious stop on the tour!) Afterward, Effie and our driver brought us to Agios Andreas Beach, where we ate local Greek food at Beauvoir, a seaside restaurant bar located on a secluded bay with impeccable views. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking this tour - you will NOT be disappointed as it is fully worth it (side note: add the instructional guide for the Olympic site - it is money well spent).

Real 'Local' Experience!
We were very lucky to find Elena and book our trip from Katakolon cruise port to Olympea. From start to finish, Elena's communication was excellent - handling my queries, the booking process, the meet and greet, introducing our driver and local knowledge family, our itinerary! Kostas met us at the port, introducing himself and taking us to an exceptionally clean Hyundai. He explained the route and the time we were expecting to meet Elena, tour guide exceptionare! One our journey, Kostas realised we were happy to chat and gave us a lot of information about the local area and it's history. On arrival at Olympea, we visited the old archaeological site, which was fascinating. There was a lot of information so I took lots of photos to read later! Our tour of the Olympea site with Elena is to be recommended. It was obvious she had a huge passion for her history and culture, and instil her passion, she made the tour both interesting and informative. Considering the size of the site, she focused our time on a great overview of Olympea, and its history, answering all questions asked in a knowledgeable and interesting way. Fab tour which ended with a walk through of the new museum, adding another great overview, and photo opportunity. At the we met Kostas, who took us for our 'local' experience. Not knowing what to expect, it would be easy to picture something totally different to what you get, but we loved this experience! It was extremely 'local'! We were taken to a converted train station and met by a beautiful family. It was obvious this was new to them too and it felt a little awkward at first, but very quickly their welcoming nature of wanting to please, and to share their history and culture took over. They gave us tasters of peanuts, raisins, juices, sauces, etc, that all had some link to what they produced on site, or their history, and were very keen to try and communicate the process, using a range of pictures. Then we were provided with an excellent Greek, tapas style lunch, which was amazing. Finally left with Kostas for our luxury ride back. All in all, an excellent tour. Many thanks!

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ancient Olympia Private Pickup and Dropoff Service Full Disposal: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zakynthos.
How much does Ancient Olympia Private Pickup and Dropoff Service Full Disposal cost?
+
Prices start at $267 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zakynthos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ancient Olympia Private Pickup and Dropoff Service Full Disposal take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zakynthos is not rushed.
Is Ancient Olympia Private Pickup and Dropoff Service Full Disposal worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zakynthos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ancient Olympia Private Pickup and Dropoff Service Full Disposal?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ancient Olympia Private Pickup and Dropoff Service Full Disposal suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ancient Olympia Private Pickup and Dropoff Service Full Disposal?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zakynthos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zakynthos and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ancient Olympia Private Pickup and Dropoff Service Full Disposal start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zakynthos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zakynthos?
+
On Outty we rank every Zakynthos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ceramic Making Experience in Zakynthos, Exclusive Shipwreck & Blue caves Tour : Up to 10 guests, Kefalonia Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zakynthos?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zakynthos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
