Great experience as a solo woman
Thank you to Guram for a great half day tour to Mtskheta from Tbilisi! It’s always a bit of a gamble to do guided stuff solo, but I knew I wouldn’t know what I was looking at if I tried to do it unguided. I learned a ton and didn’t end up feel weird at all as a solo woman traveler.

Value for money!
The tour description is very accurate. The operator was very kind to give a detailed explanation of amount of walking involved! This is a great way to see Mtskheta and Chronicles of Georgia. Chronicles and Javri are quite windy. Wear walking shoes and sun-protection in whatever form!

Highly recommend
Jonah was very knowledgeable and freely shared his insights about the current and historical social and political conditions in Georgia. Fantastic personalized tour with an amazing guide
I had an amazing experience on this private Mtskheta tour! Ana from Friendly Georgia was incredibly helpful in personalizing the itinerary so I could visit a few extra places I really wanted to see, which made the tour feel very special and tailored just for me. My guide, Khatuna, was absolutely fantastic! Sha has an incredible wealth of historical knowledge and hearing all the fascinating stories about Georgia’s ancient capital was such a pleasure. She is also super friendly, warm and welcoming and to tip it all off, she is an amazing photographer too! I truly loved this tour and highly recommend it - and having Khatuna as guide, is the best bonus!

Wonderful Experience in Mtskheta
Mtskheta was as beautiful and fascinating as expected, but the day was greatly enhanced by opting for this tour instead of one of the large groups from Tbilisi. Khatuna was a wonderfully warm, informative, and engaging guide; you couldn't ask for a better ambassador for Georgia. She truly lived up to the "friendly" in the company name. The tour was very well paced and an excellent value. I learned a lot about Mtskheta and Georgian history without being overwhelmed by dates and facts, and Khatuna provided a lot of context and recommendations. I really wanted to see Shio Mgvime, so the optional add-on was greatly appreciated and provided a peaceful break in between the larger tourist sites.
