Great way to explore the city
Miguel was really good and knowledgeable about the city. We had driving rain but still loved the experience. There were 10 of us so he worked hard to keep us together in a very busy city
Response from the operator: Hello Caroline, Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour despite the rain and appreciated Miguel’s effort and knowledge. We hope your next adventure in Amsterdam is just as enjoyable!

Bike+boat = good choice
Started on time. Bike is ok, not worse than any bike in the city. Perfectly guided by Luba across city’s must haves. Physically bearable for men, ladies and kids. Boat trip is cool! You have to go by yourself to the marina which is just 10 mins from the bike shop. Cheese is fresh, unlimited white/ rose wines, Heineken, soda drinks. Guide tells you some history of the city and main info about buildings. Recommend 👍
Response from the operator: Hi Anton! Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate your review and we are very glad to hear that you had enjoyed our tour. We hope to welcome you in one of our tours again in the future. Best regards.

No Bike Ride…unable to locate the bike shop in time
We were using navigation on our phone to locate the bike shop at the address provided. We could not find it, so I contacted the guide. She could not give me directions from where we were to the shop and said they could not wait for us. When we got to the bike shop they had left. The bike shop owners were very nice and tried reaching her to find out where the group was, so we could catch up, but the guide would not answer her phone. We never got to do the tour. We did go on the canal cruise that was part of the package and that was well run and enjoyable.
Response from the operator: Hi Judy, We are very sorry that you couldn't join the tour as expected. It’s important to arrive a bit earlier to ensure everything is ready before starting, as we sometimes have other groups booked and need time to coordinate properly. The team was waiting and kept talking to you on the phone, but unfortunately, you couldn’t make it, even though we gave you the right address. After waiting for 15 minutes, then we needed to begin as there were other guests waiting to start the tour and the guide wasn't able to answer her phone as she was riding the bike and leading the group. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and we are glad you enjoyed the boat tour. Thank you. Kind regards.

Great way to see the city
Luba, the guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful but the bike shop might have wanted to ask more questions about level of bicycle experience. One of the other guests kept missing the lights. Her husband might have helped too. 🤣
Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate your review and we are very glad to hear that you had enjoyed our tour. We hope to welcome you in one of our tours again in the future. Best regards.

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Amsterdam Small-Group Bike Tour With Canal Cruise, Drinks, Cheese: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.
How much does Amsterdam Small-Group Bike Tour With Canal Cruise, Drinks, Cheese cost?
+
Prices start at $61 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amsterdam Small-Group Bike Tour With Canal Cruise, Drinks, Cheese take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.
Is Amsterdam Small-Group Bike Tour With Canal Cruise, Drinks, Cheese worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 84 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amsterdam Small-Group Bike Tour With Canal Cruise, Drinks, Cheese?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amsterdam Small-Group Bike Tour With Canal Cruise, Drinks, Cheese suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Amsterdam Small-Group Bike Tour With Canal Cruise, Drinks, Cheese?
+
Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amsterdam Small-Group Bike Tour With Canal Cruise, Drinks, Cheese start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?
+
On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amsterdam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
