Beautiful scenery, smooth rides, amazing tour guide Christian

We did this bike tour at the end of our trip to the Netherlands and it was well worth it! After seeing so much of the cities, it was really nice to head out to the country side where it is less busy, but so beautiful. The e-bike made it easy to take a more leisure ride or challenge yourself a bit more physically. Our guide Christian was amazing and it is a tour well worth experiencing.

Response from the operator: Thanks Wendy. Getting out of the cities and into open country is exactly why we run an Amsterdam countryside bike tour, and the contrast after a week of canals and crowds is the whole point of it. The e-bike lets you set your own effort, so a relaxed rider and a keen one can enjoy the same route on the same day. Christian is one of our strongest guides and I will pass this on to him. Come and ride with Mike's Bike Tours Amsterdam again. / Ashton

    Great experience

Simon was brilliant, very knowledgeable and interesting. Would definitely recommend. Ps Sorry we had no cash for a tip!

Response from the operator: Thanks for this. Simon has years of Amsterdam behind him and it comes through on Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour, which takes you well outside the canal belt where the crowds stay. No need to worry about the tip, a recommendation like this is worth more to Mike's Bike Tours Amsterdam than the cash. I will pass your words on to Simon. / Ashton

    Highly recommended!

Biking through the beautiful countryside and being surrounded by nature was such a wonderful way to explore the area. Simon was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun from beginning to end. The cheese tasting was delicious, and the clog experience was such a fun and memorable touch! A truly lovely experience and one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, Simon, for making the tour so enjoyable and special. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you for this. Simon gets named in review after review and your write-up shows why. An Amsterdam countryside bike tour puts you in open fields and quiet nature within half an hour of the centre, which surprises most visitors who came for canals. Glad the cheese tasting and the clogs landed as a highlight rather than a filler stop. I will pass this on to Simon, and Mike's Bike Tours Amsterdam would be glad to have you back. / Ashton

Join the Amsterdam Bikers and See the City!

Sam was a great guide, taking us around Amsterdam and stopping at places along the way to give us some history of the country and city. Amsterdam is crazy! Full of hundreds of fast bicyclists, trams, bridges, canals, and pedestrians to watch out for! It was a long ride so we were exhausted at the end! But felt like we had seen the whole city!

Response from the operator: Thanks Nancy. Sam has a talent for weaving the history in between the trams, the bridges and everyone else on two wheels. Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour covers more ground in an afternoon than most visitors manage on foot in a week, so the tired legs at the end are earned. Riding with a guide is how Mike's Bike Tours Amsterdam gets you through the busiest bike traffic in Europe without having to think about it. Come and ride with us again. / Ashton

Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $34 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 89 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour?

    +

Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amsterdam's Hidden Gems and Street Art Bike Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
