An all-together experience of stories and flavors that are inseparable from the city and make it as special as it is. What you'll see and do
Albert Cuyp Market
How much fun would it be if in every destination we visited in the world, a local friend showed up to take us to all the best places to eat, places which we would never have discovered otherwise? A dream come true, right? So what do the Dutch eat and where? Let’s find out… The Albert Cuyp Market is a paradise, located in the Pijp neighborhood. Even if this isn’t your first time in the city, we promise you will discover flavors and foods that you have not yet met. Of course we will taste the major players such as Dutch fries, haring and stroopwafels but that’s only the beginning. We’ve gathered the best of the best of foods, places, and stories that make us smile and our stomachs growl just by thinking about it. In addition, we will stop at places where you can buy yourself tasty souvenirs for back home.

Amazing family experience
We had an amazing private culinary tour with Roy! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable for the whole family. We tasted delicious food, learned interesting stories about Amsterdam, and discovered places we would never have found on our own. Roy was fantastic with the kids! Highly recommended for families looking for a fun, authentic, and personal culinary experience!

Walking food tour in Amsterdam
I had a day by myself in Amsterdam and wanted to do something fun and interesting, this walking food tour hit the spot. We had a small group which made it really intimate and we could ask Inbal lots of questions. I was so full after eating all the yummy food. It was also interesting to hear some of the history of the area we were in and Amsterdam in general.

mazing experience – even for picky eaters and vegans
There were 4 of us (mom, dad, a teenage girl, and a young boy), and we all had such a wonderful time! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Ori (12), who is just starting to open up to new flavors, is still talking about FEBO, and he even enjoyed the fish! And Dana, our vegan, was treated with the utmost care and had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this to everyone

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Amsterdam's Market Street Food Tour with Streat Bites: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.
How much does Amsterdam's Market Street Food Tour with Streat Bites cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amsterdam's Market Street Food Tour with Streat Bites take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.
Is Amsterdam's Market Street Food Tour with Streat Bites worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 443 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amsterdam's Market Street Food Tour with Streat Bites?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amsterdam's Market Street Food Tour with Streat Bites suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Amsterdam's Market Street Food Tour with Streat Bites?
+
Around 155 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amsterdam's Market Street Food Tour with Streat Bites start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?
+
On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amsterdam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
