    Great tour

I had a really good experience, I had the same guide for both the walking and the bike tour. Richard was an excellent guide and he will tell you all of the best places to eat! We got lots of information about the city and saw a lot in one day. The canal tour was slightly disappointing, the roof and windows of the boat made it impossible to take pictures. There was some seating outside but when sitting outside you can’t hear the captain and there is no audio guide plug in either. So I had to choose between getting any information or taking pictures. Other than that it was a really good tour and a good value for money.

Response from the operator: Hello Jaelen, Thank you so much for your review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed Richard’s company and his food recommendations so much, as well as the comprehensive walking and cycling tour! We’ve taken note of your comment regarding visibility and audio on the boat so that we can continue to improve the experience for our travellers. We hope you continue to enjoy your travels!

Why so many bikes in Amsterdam?!?

We started in the Amsterdam and Laura our tour guide took us around Amsterdam and explained why there are so many bikes and why they have the right of way in Amsterdam. She was smart and funny and really knew the history of Amsterdam. I would recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: Hello Patricia! Thank you for your review! We are very happy that you have enjoyed the tour with us. Hope to see you again in the future. Best regards.

    Full day! 3 separate experiences

This is a very full day. It’s actually 3 separate experiences and you will be with different guides/groups for each activity. The walking tour was great. The bike tour was good, but a little stressful if you are not a very confident bike rider in urban areas. The lunch break at the cafe was enjoyable, and the hour long canal boat ride is was the perfect way to end the day.

Response from the operator: Hello! Thank you very much for taking your time to review us, we are delighted to hear that you have enjoyed the tour. We hope to welcome you in one of our tours again in the future. Kind regards.

Amsterdam full day tour: Walking, Biking and Cruising: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Amsterdam full day tour: Walking, Biking and Cruising cost?

    +

Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amsterdam full day tour: Walking, Biking and Cruising take?

    +

Plan for about 8.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Amsterdam full day tour: Walking, Biking and Cruising worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amsterdam full day tour: Walking, Biking and Cruising?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amsterdam full day tour: Walking, Biking and Cruising suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Amsterdam full day tour: Walking, Biking and Cruising?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amsterdam full day tour: Walking, Biking and Cruising start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
