Absolutely Terrible
My daughter wanted to go in the Mirror Maze on our first trip to the American Dream. It was the worst experience of our summer. The employees were rude, they were of no help at all. I wanted to just buy the tickets there and pay the extra $4. They would not do it. They told me to buy them online, didn’t offer any help and ignored us until we finished it. Then the actual maze was short, uncomplicated, very simple to get through and a little dirty. Very sub par compared to the rest of the mall. It made not want to go into the miniature golf that they have there. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Response from the operator: We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, Kevin. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’ll address your concerns with our team to improve service and cleanliness. We strive to provide memorable experiences and appreciate your input as we work to enhance our offerings. Thank you for sharing. Best, Carlos

It's Fun.
It a great vacation day or even days. My wife and I really enjoyed the mirror maze. Overall vacation and fun place just to walk around and view.

For the Very Young
The maze is designed for very young children. Took my older teen children and they were done in 4 minutes. Was not worth the money for a 4 minute experience.

Discount code GVG15 and save! Don't be like my wife!
We were reading about this place prior to our family visit to NYC, coming from England for the first time we had no idea what to do with the kids! This place has everything and we had a jam packed day and the kids had a blast on the water rides. We even found a discount code to save 15% it was GVG15 of course my wife forgot to even use the code but we do plan to go back as we are here for two weeks.

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
American Dream Mirror Maze Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Newark.
How much does American Dream Mirror Maze Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $11 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Newark usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does American Dream Mirror Maze Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Newark is not rushed.
Is American Dream Mirror Maze Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Newark, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule American Dream Mirror Maze Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is American Dream Mirror Maze Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book American Dream Mirror Maze Ticket?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Newark can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Newark and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does American Dream Mirror Maze Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Newark within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Newark?
+
Newark handles a lot of practical travel: airport transfers, port pickups for cruises, plus city walking tours, Ironbound food crawls and quick trips across the river into Manhattan. On Outty we rank every Newark experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game New Jersey: 60-Minute Adventure at American Dream, Experience Great Big Game Show New Jersey, New York, D.C, Niagara Falls & Boston 7-Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Newark?
+
April to June and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Newark?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
