Best Waterpark Ever
This is the BEST indoor waterpark we’ve ever been to & we’ve been to almost 10. The slides are incredible, overall it was clean & well staffed. We arrived 15min before they opened, waited in line & were able to enjoy a bunch of slides before it got too busy. It only started feeling really crowded around 2/3pm. The only improvements that would help is better signage - it was confusing to figure out which stairway lead to which slide. And the blue anti-slip mats hurt your feet after awhile if you don’t have shoes on. The concrete on the stairs was painful too. We ate the pizza for lunch. It was small, but 1 $19 pizza fed our small fam of 4 enough to keep us going. It tasted good too. The big green Shrek slide is so fun & scary! The racing mat slides may have been my favorite. The water coaster is fun, but the person in front gets sprayed with water a lot & it’s not worth a super long line. Our kids loved the wave pool.

I am unhappy with Viator because they showed my account as not charged when I paid the first time and I went out and put money back on my card and then they put a charge on my account and took the money from my account for the first request and for the second request and when I did it again they took it back but still my money has not been refunded I bought a ticket for four people the staff there just stands for show I tried to explain the situation they don't even want to listen call my account and refund my overcharged $262 😡 I will not go back to this place or this Viator they just dumped me😭 when I wrote to the agent asking for help after a long wait he said he can't solve this problem🤯

Amazing trip to NC with shrek
This was an amazing experience with trip advisor! If you are looking for a cozy, funny , and good staffed hotel and water park duo this is your jam. Me and the family went here for a fun trip in NC, but when we got there we were greeted by the one and only Shrek! The only complaint is that the water was a little sweet to drink but just in general it was beautiful 😻

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
American Dream DreamWorks Indoor Water Park Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Newark.
How much does American Dream DreamWorks Indoor Water Park Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Newark usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does American Dream DreamWorks Indoor Water Park Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Newark is not rushed.
Is American Dream DreamWorks Indoor Water Park Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 148 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Newark, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule American Dream DreamWorks Indoor Water Park Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is American Dream DreamWorks Indoor Water Park Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book American Dream DreamWorks Indoor Water Park Ticket?
+
Around 52 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Newark can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Newark and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does American Dream DreamWorks Indoor Water Park Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Newark within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Newark?
+
Newark handles a lot of practical travel: airport transfers, port pickups for cruises, plus city walking tours, Ironbound food crawls and quick trips across the river into Manhattan. On Outty we rank every Newark experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game New Jersey: 60-Minute Adventure at American Dream, Experience Great Big Game Show New Jersey, New York, D.C, Niagara Falls & Boston 7-Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Newark?
+
April to June and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Newark?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
