About this experience
You will visit the beautiful and picturesque Amalfi coast, see the beautiful scenery while sitting in a spacious and comfortable car. Take pictures along the way and stop to visit cities at your own pace. Amalfi, the first one of the maritime cities, rivalling Venice and Genoa, is an amazing city to explore. You can visit the beautiful multicoloured pottery shops, churches, the central square, and if you want you can go up the river to admire the picturesque valley of the mills. You can also have lunch at one of several restaurants in Amalfi. Finally you will visit Ravello, the city of music, theatre and art. Highly recommend this tour and this company
Our guide Roberto and our driver Enzo were lovely people willing to help and provided a lot of insight to the towns visited. Enzo was a very careful and considerate driver, especially through the winding roads. The trip was faultless and they even booked a restaurant for us to have lunch in whilst doing the tour. The restaurant in between Amalfi and Positano recommend by Roberto was amazing as was the food. The company was very efficient in replying to queries. Replies to email queries were received within minutes, even on a Sunday. A car seat for my one year old was provided (other drivers in Italy ignored our request). We couldn't recommend this company enough, true professionals. Daniel and Paula - Gibraltar

Great Day touring the Amalfi Coast!
Francesco was an amazing tour guide! He was very prompt in meeting us and the tour went very smoothly. He helped us avoid the crowds by taking us to all the places but in a different order. He was very pleasant and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him! Francesco was also very patient with us while we looked around each town. We never felt rushed or hurried. I highly recommend Francesco for your tour of the Amalfi Coast!

Amalfi coast drive
Roberto was our tour guide and greeted us at the port with a sign. We also had a driver Manuela. We both enjoyed the trip with Roberto answering our questions, along with pointing out items. Plenty of time at each stop, and we modified the day to suite our time frame. Roberto recommended a lunch spot that had spectacular views of the Amalfi coast.

A great day out 😎
Peno our driver was knowledgeable and friendly. Was a great day for our family of 3. Taking the van was much better than a large bus! We got picked up at our hotel in Naples at 9am and dropped off at 5pm. We had stops in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. So beautiful!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Amalfi Coast Private Tour - Positano, Amalfi & Ravello: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Amalfi Coast Private Tour - Positano, Amalfi & Ravello cost?
+
Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amalfi Coast Private Tour - Positano, Amalfi & Ravello take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Amalfi Coast Private Tour - Positano, Amalfi & Ravello worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amalfi Coast Private Tour - Positano, Amalfi & Ravello?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amalfi Coast Private Tour - Positano, Amalfi & Ravello suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Amalfi Coast Private Tour - Positano, Amalfi & Ravello?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amalfi Coast Private Tour - Positano, Amalfi & Ravello start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
