Boat trip along the coast...
Boat trip along the coast with one swim stop before arriving at Amalfi. Three hours to visit Amalfi. Small pastry snacks and a Prosecco at the swimming stop. Three o'clock pick up and fast transfer back to the ship stop.
via Viator
The food served is poor...
Positive: The boat stops three times for swimming, which is very enjoyable. Negative, considering the price paid: The food served is poor in quality. They could offer a glass of sparkling wine instead of just a few drops. The music is played at a very high volume. The song selection felt like we were in the Caribbean rather than in Italy.

I expected more from the food
The boat was in a good condition, the staff was kind and the views were beautiful but the food... I expected a lot more being in Italy. Italians take so much pride from their gastronomy yet this was disappointing and did not represent the amazing food you can eat in Italy. For appetiser we had something like a salad with old hard bread crumbs, tomato, some kind of pickled onion and tin tuna. For lunch we had hard pasta (not aldente), in a tomato and olives sauce. Very plain a bit sour, no meat or seafood in it. Very very basic, something that you can cook at home in 5 minutes so you get an idea and no cheese! It did not make sense to me but I had to fill my stomach. The stops to swim seemed to me very random but we were explained a couple facts about some of the places we could see from the boat while it was moving, which was nice. As a suggestion I would make at least one stop in land. It would be nice to spend some time in one of the beautiful beaches is Amalfi as part of the tour.

Great Value, sights and experience
Excellent value. A great way to see the Amalfi Coast from the water. Lots of fun meeting people from around the world. The tour was on time and very efficient with snacks and lunch. Swimming and sights were amazing. There are three swim stops to enjoy No complaints from a couple of 70 year olds.

We had a great trip with swimming stops and lunch.
Great trip with gorgeous views. Simple but nice pasta lunch. We had 3 swimming stops. Better to arrive early to get good seats. You can jump from the side of the boat. You can buy beer on the boat.

Why this scores 72

Amalfi Coast by boat with aperitif, lunch and sea breaks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salerno.
How much does Amalfi Coast by boat with aperitif, lunch and sea breaks cost?
+
Prices start at $77 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salerno usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Amalfi Coast by boat with aperitif, lunch and sea breaks take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salerno is not rushed.
Is Amalfi Coast by boat with aperitif, lunch and sea breaks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 61 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Salerno, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Amalfi Coast by boat with aperitif, lunch and sea breaks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Amalfi Coast by boat with aperitif, lunch and sea breaks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Amalfi Coast by boat with aperitif, lunch and sea breaks?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salerno can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salerno and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Amalfi Coast by boat with aperitif, lunch and sea breaks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salerno within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Salerno?
+
On Outty we rank every Salerno experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno, Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day Cruise from Positano, Amalfi Coast Boat tour Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Salerno?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Salerno?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
