Discover the breathtaking unique collections of the Bardo Museum . Explore the ruins of the 3000 years-old Carthage,and trace the Punic,Roman,Byzantine and Crusadors history. There are about 9 different sites to see , the most important are the Byrsa Hill , the Antoninus Baths, the Malaga Cisterns , the roman villas , the punic ports ; the Salambo Tophet. The visit can take from 3-6 Hours. Walking , we can see about 3/4 sites , but to see more sites a car will be necessary. Transportation can be arranged upon demand , on the charge of the customer.

The Roman Theatre of Carthage
The Roman Theatre of Carthage is a restored ancient Roman theatre complex in Tunis which is now used to host a range of events. Originally built during the time of Roman control of Carthage, the theatre is believed to have been destroyed during the Vandal invasions of the 5th century AD. Originally able to seat at least 5,000 spectators, the Roman theatre of Carthage would have been a central meeting place in the ancient city.

Back to the Punic Wars: Carthage Comes Alive!
I dreamed of travelling back in time through the ruins of Carthage — and thanks to my excellent guide, Ahmed, I did! His knowledge goes far beyond dates and battles, mixing architecture, art, ancient civilizations and even insights into how societies and organizations work. Ahmed truly knows how to make old stones speak and bring Carthage back to life. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience history, not just look at ruins!

Excellent tour with insightful & passionate tour guide (Ahmed)
The tour was excellent. Ahmed - our guide - was a fountain of knowledge. He has a deep understanding of history (not just Carthage/Rome) and combined it with a genuine passion for the subject matter. It was also good to have transport handy, as the sweltering heat made walking between sites somewhat impossible.

History and archeology made simple

Ahmed is a very well spoken person who would be able to answer any of your questions. The Carthage bathes without a guide it would be mostly just rocks, with a guide it’s an immersive experience. very worth doing. would do it again honestly.
