My husband and I had a lovely experience touring the wineries of Santa Barbara on this tour. Our guide, Johann, was friendly, knowledgable and seemed to love his job, which is a plus. My only small criticism was about the lunch. We pre-ordered our lunches from a local sandwich shop and honestly...it wasn't very good. Mine wasn't and neither was my husband's, which is was unfortunate. At least one of the wineries we visited served food, and it would've been better had we been able to just order a meal at the winery for our lunch. But other than that, the scenery was gorgeous, we tasted many delicious wines--some varietals we'd never heard of--and it was an overall lovely experience.

Fun way to spend a day in wine country!
Peter was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable, fun to be with all day! Tomi Cellars was our final stop & it was incredible that the owner & winemaker, Boyd, was able to show us the behind the scenes that goes into making great wine — we left with 4 bottles we bought we loved it so much! The lunch from a local sandwich shop at one of the wineries was delicious and a perfect pairing with wine. My only critique is that I felt like we drove past these stunning, beautiful wineries with amazing grounds & I felt like we went to very underwhelming options (whether that be because of the wine, the grounds, or both).

Leslie was the best, 10/10.
Leslie was an amazing tour guide. We booked a wine tour but learned about Santa Barbara history, Native American history, native plants, animals and many more things. Also she knows a ton about wine! Leslie was amazing, thanks for showing our group such a great time!

Beautiful Wine Region
We had a wonderful day visiting three wineries, including a pre-ordered lunch at one. The region is beautiful and our guide was very knowlegable. Peter went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable day.

Exceptional tour with Johannes!
This was best wine tour we've been on. SBWCT was accommodating and Johannes Steenkamp was knowledgeable and chose 3 great wineries based on our experience and introducing us to new wineries and some great wines!

All Inclusive Santa Ynez Wine Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santa Barbara.
How much does All Inclusive Santa Ynez Wine Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $239 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santa Barbara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does All Inclusive Santa Ynez Wine Tour take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santa Barbara is not rushed.
Is All Inclusive Santa Ynez Wine Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 243 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santa Barbara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule All Inclusive Santa Ynez Wine Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is All Inclusive Santa Ynez Wine Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book All Inclusive Santa Ynez Wine Tour?
+
Around 85 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santa Barbara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santa Barbara and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does All Inclusive Santa Ynez Wine Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santa Barbara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santa Barbara?
+
Santa Barbara runs wine tours into the Santa Ynez Valley, harbour sailing and whale watching, Channel Islands day trips, and Spanish colonial walking tours through the Presidio and Mission. Tasting-room access and group size make the biggest difference in wine tours here. On Outty we rank every Santa Barbara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Santa Barbara Electric Bike Tour, Kayak Tour of Santa Barbara with Experienced Guide, Small-Group Wine Tour in Santa Barbara to Exclusive Vineyards. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santa Barbara?
+
March to June and September to November, dodging the May and June marine layer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santa Barbara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
