Chill tour north to south/east to west
Our hostess Juliana did a great job of showing us the sights, keeping a good pace for our family, and maintaining a positive vibe while safely navigating the busy bike paths and city streets with us. Bikes were easily manageable and equipped with baskets, making it handy for personal belongings. They provide helmets and filled water bottles which were a nice bonus
Response from the operator: Glad you enjoyed your bike tour with Juliana! Santa Barbara is a great place for biking and bike tours are a great way to see and learn about the town and coast. Thanks for touring with us!

A Bike tour of Santa Barbara with Danny is a must!
Danny was superb. Our tour was perfect- we saw the city from prominent points that included the Ty Warners perimeter with absolutely fabulous landscaping on a secluded bike path., City College, and the Courthouse clock tower. He mapped the two-hour ride to match our riding skills, and along the way, shared local color that was informative and fascinating. When we return to SB, we will book him again. Just outstanding. W & M
Response from the operator: Glad you enjoyed your bike tour with Danny! We are so pleased to hear you had a great experience touring and learning about Santa Barbara on our bikes! Thank so much for the kind words and feedback!

A day cycling with Danny in SB is the BEST!
Danny has learned all the nuances and highlights of Santa Barbara to share with his cycling customers. Even Pace the ride so that every time we were ready to stop for a little water we were at an incredible Vista like Thai Warner’s bikepath or city College or the courthouse Clocktower.. we could not have seen this much of the city without his help or the bikes that were in great condition. This is a must if you want a safe, informative and pleasurable day in Santa Barbara.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the awesome review! So glad you had a great time on your bike tour with Danny—he really knows how to make it fun and memorable. Hope to see you again soon!

Beginner or Intermediate Mountain Bike Tour of Santa Barbara: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santa Barbara.
How much does Beginner or Intermediate Mountain Bike Tour of Santa Barbara cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santa Barbara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Beginner or Intermediate Mountain Bike Tour of Santa Barbara take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santa Barbara is not rushed.
Is Beginner or Intermediate Mountain Bike Tour of Santa Barbara worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Santa Barbara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Beginner or Intermediate Mountain Bike Tour of Santa Barbara?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Beginner or Intermediate Mountain Bike Tour of Santa Barbara suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Beginner or Intermediate Mountain Bike Tour of Santa Barbara?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santa Barbara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santa Barbara and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Beginner or Intermediate Mountain Bike Tour of Santa Barbara start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santa Barbara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santa Barbara?
+
Santa Barbara runs wine tours into the Santa Ynez Valley, harbour sailing and whale watching, Channel Islands day trips, and Spanish colonial walking tours through the Presidio and Mission. Tasting-room access and group size make the biggest difference in wine tours here. On Outty we rank every Santa Barbara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Santa Barbara Electric Bike Tour, Kayak Tour of Santa Barbara with Experienced Guide, Small-Group Wine Tour in Santa Barbara to Exclusive Vineyards. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santa Barbara?
+
March to June and September to November, dodging the May and June marine layer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santa Barbara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
