Waste of time trying to book, cancelled twice.
Tried booking this twice and cancelled both times. No reason, very annoying as the cancellation notice came through at 19:00 each day leaving no time to book with anyone else.
Response from the operator: Yes we canceled boking because of the situation in srilanka. All of 04 seater van not available on these days, this was a last minutes booking so, we failed to give them a vehicle for 04 peope. That is why we canceled thos

Terrible Yala Park Tour Experience
Worst tour experience ever. Avoid at all costs if you are arriving by cruise ship. Our driver met us outside the ship at 8:30 AM as planned for a scheduled private tour of Yala National Park. We rode in his safari jeep for the next 6 1/2 hours, with only one bathroom break, and hardly saw any animals in the park other than a couple of birds and a deer. It was a total waste of our day. The driver was a good driver, but there was no guide. The driver was not a guide, and the best he could do was show us pictures of animals in a book. The driver told us that the only way we could have a successful safari and actually see animals moving about was if we started our tour at 5:30 AM or 6:00 AM in the morning at a starting point close to the park. He said the ship terminal was way too far away to have a successful tour actually seeing animals. We got into the Safari Jeep at 8:30 AM and did not get to the park until after 11 AM. The park is known for all of its elephants, but we never saw even one elephant in the park. The driver said that arriving at the park in midday was the worst time to see animals because at that time of day they are all sleeping. The owner of the tour company knew that our ship was not landing until 8 AM and the earliest we could meet the driver was at 8:30 AM. And the owner of the tour company also knew that the cruise ship terminal was too far away from the national park to have a successful tour starting out from the cruise ship at 8:30 AM. The owner of the tour company also knew that the weather had been very bad with lots of heavy rain for several weeks before today, and that many roads in the park were washed out and the driver said even the main visitor center was closed. The owner of the tour company knew all of this, but didn’t share any of this information with us prior to our starting the tour. If we knew in advance that the cruise ship terminal was too far away from the national park, and that the only way to have a successful tour was to leave at 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning, which was impossible for us, we would have canceled this tour in a timely manner and made other plans for the day. But I’m certain the owner of the tour company was only interested in getting our money and not making sure that we had a good tour as we expected.
Response from the operator: dear sir we are we are sorry for bad luck. we did this tour as per the itinerary which given. our start time is at 06:am but they arrived to the vehicle at 08:45, we tried to do our best in the safari we sow other animal but couldn't see leopard,. this is not a zoo, we are going to see wild animal, seen a leopard or bear is a luck by chance but we tried our best. they requested to ride more but we cannot becous park close from 12:30 to 14;00 we cannot drive inside. they wanted to get money back we also cannot refund already paid for entrance and tour done more than 06 hours. We have mentioned all of details in the tour itinerary, In the national parke no toilets only in the entrance gate. We wanted to contact you via whatsapp also but no respond. We knew the arrival time only 24 hours before

Not a good organization - park visit good
I contacted the provider beforehand about the meeting point in the harbor. He didn't know whether she could get to the cruise ship in Hambantota with her vehicle (other providers could do this). It wasn't really a problem for us. We could have taken a shuttle into town. But the provider didn't try to clarify this beforehand... So there was no driver there and after a few calls and inquiries we had to walk 25 minutes in hot sunshine to the harbor entrance. We then started the tour an hour later to Yala National Park. Then the driver got lost and we lost another 50 minutes. The organizer hasn't contacted us or apologized to this day, nor has he met us halfway. The driver was good and the visit to the national park was great. We saw lots of animals. But we only had two hours in the park - instead of the four we booked and paid for. We didn't see the other stations as described. So we would book the park again (two points for that). However, the organizer only deserves one point.

Good but could have been better
Trip was very good and guide was very knowledgeable and would have given five stars had it not been that the guide turned up 90 minutes late. Also the vehicle was quite old and was left behind by other tour vehicles
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your riview. we are apologize Sorry for the truble.

Elephants and land monitor lizard but leopards were sleeping
Great fun and great value. We didn't find the leopards but saw other wildlife. Safari driver was terrific and worked hard to find the leopards. He taught us about listening for the call of the animals. The driver was interesting and pointed out sites of interest along the way. We stopped for a Madu River Cruise which was also very memorable.

Why this scores 55

All inclusive Private jeep safari at Yala National park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Negombo.
How much does All inclusive Private jeep safari at Yala National park cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Negombo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does All inclusive Private jeep safari at Yala National park take?
+
Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Negombo is not rushed.
Is All inclusive Private jeep safari at Yala National park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Negombo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule All inclusive Private jeep safari at Yala National park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is All inclusive Private jeep safari at Yala National park suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book All inclusive Private jeep safari at Yala National park?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Negombo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Negombo and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does All inclusive Private jeep safari at Yala National park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Negombo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Negombo?
+
On Outty we rank every Negombo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Car & Driver for 07 Days Tour In Sri Lanka, Most Popular Round Tour in Sri Lanka (10 Days), Highly recommended multi day tour in Sri Lanka. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Negombo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Negombo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
