Your fun exploration begins just outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay) where the friendly semi-submarine shore excursion staff will be waiting for you. They will get you all checked and into your transportation. The drive to the West End pier where the semi sub is located is just a short distance from the cruise terminal. You will get to pass some scenic sights along the way. The semi-sub glass bottom boat crew help you aboard under the shaded topside. As the vessel moves out from the shore on the way to the barrier coral reefs of West End, they will help you down the 8 stairs into the interior where you will find large glass viewing windows along each side and seats down the middle. The crew will take you along the reefs where you can view all of the colorful, tropical marine life darting among the coral reef. The underwater scenery is never the same and the view is continuously changing out each window. There is a variety of marine life to see from colorful fish to coral to sponges. The guests will be out on the water for approximately 35 minutes. At the end of the semi-submarine glass bottom boat part of this excursion, the semi-sub will motor back to the pier where the transportation will take guests back to your ship's cruise terminal

AWESOME Roatan Adventure ❤️
Our guide Kameron was awesome 🤩!! He was very helpful, informative and patient. Got us safely everywhere we went even with the little while of rain we got. The young lady guide at the glass bottom boat was very sweet, informative and caring! We got to see a shark & a sea turtle among many other fish!!

very enjoyable
our driver, Trent, made this trip very enjoyable for us. Having been raised on the island, he took us to some great places, as well as the Glass Bottom Boat and Manawakie Park.. He stayed with us all day and made sure we were taken care of.

Had an AMAZING time
It was very crowded at the Port, but once we found our driver, Derek, we had an AMAZING trip. Derek made our excursion perfect and just for us.

Roatan experience
Deri, or taxi driver was great. He gave us loads of information about Roatan. The weather had been bad so the glass bottom boat was not running doh he took us to another beach where the boat was running. The wild life park was not worth visiting in my opinion, however younger people would probably go on the ship lines. My husband's health would not permit this for us. Deri suggested another trip to the mangrove. This took us to the other side of the island where we saw the "real" side of the island. This was a really great experience and the boat trip was beautiful. More visitors there would enable the locals to improve the facilities. A great day out.

Glass bottom boat, wildlife visit and beach
We had an excellent experience on Routon with Henry Tours. Kembron was a fabulous guide, very knowledgeable and easy going. Our favourite was the glass bottom boat! The boat setup was amazing (we were actually underwater)! We saw 2 turtles, lots of Damsel fish, pilot fish, parrot fish and a squid and a puffer fish.
