What you'll see and do
The Pyramids Of Giza
Private pick you from your request hotel. Step back in time to the days of ancient Egypt on a private tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. The Giza Plateau is only around 30 minutes from Cairo, where your qualified Egyptologist guide will provide a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids: Cheops, Khafre and Menakaure. You will have free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), though your guide is not permitted to enter with you, or take a camel ride (additional cost). After visiting the pyramids, you'll continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background. A short drive to the city side of the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the Sphinx, for thousands of years the enigmatic symbol of Egypt. Also in Giza you may visit the Solar Boat Museum (optional), home to the remarkably well preserved funerary boat of Khufu.

Amazing Pyramids and Sphinx.
An excellent day visiting the Pyramids Of Giza. I went inside both Khufu and Khafre's pyramid. An amazing experience followed by going to see the beautiful Sphinx. An unforgettable day of memories in Egypt, with wonderful support and help by my tour guide Tawfik from Hesham Egypt tours. He was brilliant all day, as was our great driver. All my thanks to them for their care and help throughout the day.

I am from the United States and wanted to see the Giza pyramids, the Cairo museum with the Tutankhamen collection, etc but was nervous about traveling to Egypt. Rania, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable about Egyptian history, and the personal drivers were prompt and skilled navigators. Great!

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
