Avoid this fraud. Buy tickets direct only. Do not trust these thiefs.

This company is a total FRAUD. We booked Alhambra tour with them six weeks in advance. I emailed them to confirm and also request if we could pick up the tickets from their office. They said we could do so. Then, two days before our tour, they emailed to cancel our tickets. We had travelled thousands of miles, spent thousands of dollars to be in Granada for seeing Alhambra. For them to sell us overpriced tickets and then cancel last minute without even a somewhat honest explanation is completely ridiculous. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FRAUDS.

Response from the operator: Dear Sir, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed and we fully understand how frustrating it can be not to obtain tickets for the Alhambra. However, we would like to clarify an important point for future readers. The Alhambra is a monument with strictly limited daily capacity, and ticket availability depends exclusively on the monument itself, not on tour operators. Unfortunately, tickets are not always possible to secure, even when every effort is made. In your case, we dedicated significant time to trying to obtain Alhambra tickets and kept you informed at all times. When they were not available, we offered you alternative options so that you could still enjoy a high-quality experience in Granada. Ultimately, you chose not to proceed with the alternative proposed. Granada Selected Tours is a highly professional company with a long record of excellent service. The vast majority of our reviews on TripAdvisor are 5-star ratings, reflecting our commitment to honesty, transparency, and customer care. We are certainly not a fraud, and we always work with professionalism and respect, doing our very best to help every client. We regret that this situation did not meet your expectations and wish you all the best in your future travels. Kind regards, Granada Selected Tours

    The private tour far...

The private tour far exceeded our expectations. Esther and the four of us were excited to hear of the history of the area as well as the evolution of the fortress and the castles. The multiculturalism was fascinating. The Palace of the Lions was my favorite, but some of the group preferred the gardens of Generalife. Esther was great as she described each element of the complex in amazing detail. She also answered our numerous questions.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review and for sharing your experience. We are delighted to know you enjoyed your visit. We hope to welcome you again very soon.

Alhambra Private Tour: Secrets of the Alhambra: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.

How much does Alhambra Private Tour: Secrets of the Alhambra cost?

    +

Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Alhambra Private Tour: Secrets of the Alhambra take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.

Is Alhambra Private Tour: Secrets of the Alhambra worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 126 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Alhambra Private Tour: Secrets of the Alhambra?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Alhambra Private Tour: Secrets of the Alhambra suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Alhambra Private Tour: Secrets of the Alhambra?

    +

Around 44 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Alhambra Private Tour: Secrets of the Alhambra start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Granada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Granada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Granada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
