    Great experience with carlos

It was a truly special experience with CarlosSerrano on Wednesday 29 July 2026. He provided us with incredibly useful information, and his interaction with us was exceptional and friendly. I was particularly impressed that he speaks several different languages. It's a real achievement to find someone who speaks Arabic with an Egyptian accent and is knowledgeable about all that history. I want to thank Carlos sincerely and with all my heart.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! Carlos Serrano possesses a wealth of knowledge regarding languages and the Alhambra. It is a true pleasure for us to have him as part of our team of guides. We are also delighted to hear that you enjoyed his company. We hope you return soon and that we can enjoy your company again!

    Possibly false advertising

From the description, I thought I was getting a tour inside the Alhambra but in fact it was outside the grounds. The tour guide was actually very, very good, but I felt like this was false advertising.

Response from the operator: Good afternoon. We're pleased to hear you rated our guide positively (it's a crucial aspect for us). However, if you look at your booking voucher, it indicates that you booked a tour of the Alhambra's exterior. In any case, we encourage you to book in advance next time to avoid any issues with ticket availability for visiting the monument. Regards.

Really worthwhile to book this trip

really enjoyed the tour our guide Sara was excellent she spoke really good English and knew so much about the history of the Alhambra - would definitely recommend booking this tour - it took approx 2-2.5 hours we had booked for 2pm but the local tour company texted to say it was changed to 3pm we were able to walk from our hotel and had a bite lunch in a nice bar near the meeting point until it was time to go in the place is amazing with fantastic views and photo opportunities

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review! Sometimes, due to availability and to allow you to fully experience the monument, we have to slightly delay (or advance) the start time of the tour. We are delighted to hear that this did not disrupt your plans and that you were captivated by both the expertise of your guide, Sara, and the incomparable beauty of the Alhambra. If you return to the city, please don't hesitate to contact us; we look forward to welcoming you back. Thank you!

Alhambra &Charles Palace Guided Tour with Optional Nasrid Palaces: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.

How much does Alhambra &Charles Palace Guided Tour with Optional Nasrid Palaces cost?

    +

Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Alhambra &Charles Palace Guided Tour with Optional Nasrid Palaces take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.

Is Alhambra &Charles Palace Guided Tour with Optional Nasrid Palaces worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 2,198 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Alhambra &Charles Palace Guided Tour with Optional Nasrid Palaces?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Alhambra &Charles Palace Guided Tour with Optional Nasrid Palaces suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Alhambra &Charles Palace Guided Tour with Optional Nasrid Palaces?

    +

Around 769 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Alhambra &Charles Palace Guided Tour with Optional Nasrid Palaces start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Granada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Granada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Granada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
